    • PURPOSE:To realize the safe transportation and short term of assembling work by a method wherein the condenser is assembled up to the state as near as possible to reach completion at the factory and then divided into the sizes capable to transport on road especially with the condition to eliminate the requirement to weld cooling tubes at the site of installation of the condenser. CONSTITUTION:The cooling tubes 21, which constitute the cardinal part of the condenser, have been attached in a main shell 11 by welding under the state that no more welding is necessary. Tube supporting plates 17 and reinforcing plates 19 and the like also have been attached similarly in the main shell 11. A condensate reservoir 12, an upper shell 2 and a connecting shell 13 are respectively sent separately from the main shell 11. Partition plates 14 are divided in corresponding to the longitudinal division of the main shell 11 and transported by being fixed to the bottom of the respective main shells 11. Because the partition plate 14 equipped with the function as the roof plate of the condensate reservoir 12 is fixed to the bottom of the main shell 11, the partition plate 14 performs the duty of the transportation bottom plate of the main shell 11, resulting in eliminating the need for adding reinforcing member in extra and enabling to safely transport the main shell 11 as it is. Because no welding work of cooling tubes is contained in the assembling work by welding said divided parts, the assembling work is technically easy and a few amount of welding work and the short term of assembling work are resulted.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the water chamber of the condenser from being subjected to an excessively heavy load due to an earthquake or the like by a method wherein in the steam turbine condenser provided with flexible joints between the trunk and the water chamber thereof, the water chamber is made movable in the longitudinal direction of a cooling pipe but is restrained to move in the direction normal to the cooling pipe. CONSTITUTION:The five quakeproof means 10 are attached to the trunk 1 of the condenser at positions adjacent the water chamber 4' with one end of each of the quake- proof means 10 held across each of the flexible joints 5. The quakeproof means 10 are so formed that they can move in the longitudinal direction of the cooling pipe 2 but are restrained to move normal to the cooling pipe 2. With the above structure, when the movable side of the water chamber 4' is subjected to the force of inertia in the direction normal to the cooling pipe 2, the counter-force is born upon by the quakeproof means 10 so that no excessive load is applied on the flexible joints 5, a pipe plate 3 and the cooling pipe 2 and the expansion and contraction of each of the flexible joints 5 due to the difference in expansion resulting from the variation of temperature during the operation of the condenser are not obstructed. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent the flexible joints 5, the pipe plate 3 and the cooling pipe 2 from being damaged.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce a load of the foundation and to reduce cost of installation by reducing moment resulting from an equalizing drum through transmission of load resulting from differential pressure applicable to a lid plate of a condenser to an adjoining condenser drum or a turbine frame. CONSTITUTION:A lid plate 11 is provided on a drum 1 through a lid plate expansion joint 12 having an identical opening area to an equalizing drum 3, and an external load applicable to the lid plate 11 is transmitted to an adjoining condenser drum 1' through a lid plate support 13. A horizontal load generated through an opening of the equalizing drum 3 can be offset by this, and moment resulting from the equalizing drum 3 can be dissolved. Then a foundation component can be made smaller and material cost of the foundation part can be reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the deaeration effect by a method wherein condensed water collected in a hot well is flowed uniformly, and the agitation by steam as well as boiling and evaporation on the outside of heating pipes arranged in a condenser is acceralated. CONSTITUTION:Partition plates 11, a covering plate 12 are compared at the inside of the hot well 3 situated at the lower part of the condenser 1, and heating pipes 10 are provided in the passage which is divided with partition plates 11 at the lower part of the fluid surface of the stagnant and at the opposed position of an outlet 4 of the condensed water. The heating pipes 10 are connected to a heating medium system 23, and the introduction of heating medium is carried out at will by an ON-OFF valve 33. Heating medium is composed of coarse steam, heated water or high temperature gas etc. and is used appropriately. When the plant is started, the condensed water in the hot well 3 is taken out by a condenser pump 5, and is introduced to a condensed water re-circulate system 22 from a condensed water system 21, and is supplied to spray system 22, and is supplied to sprayers 6, 7 and is dispersed in the condenser 1. When the plant is started, the vacuum rate is increased in the condenser, and soluted oxygen is released from the interface of sprayed fluid. Subsequently, the condensed water which flows down on the upper surface of the covering plate 12 is boiled and evaporated due to the heat from the heating pipes 10, and the fluid at the outside surface of the heating pipes 10 is agitated by the bubbles thereof.

    • PURPOSE:To remarkably reduce the manufacturing cost and the working steps at the site by a method of dividing a condenser at every component and assembling after transportation by mounting a reinforcing member on a tube supporting plate, and further assembling the tube supporting plate in a block for transportation, thereby transporting as a single part the tube supporting plate. CONSTITUTION:An air collecting tube 13 and a partition plate 14 are mounted at the center to a tube supporting plate 7. Reinforcing materials 15-17 of a condenser and deformation preventing reinforcing material 18 at assembling control time and transporting and delivering time and mounted around the plate 7. The tube 13, the plate 14 and the materials 14-17 are mounted while centering the cooling tubes one by one on a surface plate via the plate 7. Accordingly, the cooling tube centering of the plate 7 can be accurately regulated at the tube supporting plate block completing time. The material 18 is formed in a distant bolt shape to maintain the interval between the plates 7 to eliminate the displacement of the centering of the cooling tube. Further, the tube supporting plate block has elasticity, thereby facilitating the fine adjustment of the side and bottom plates of lower body 1 in case of installing at the site.

    • PURPOSE: To provide a condenser wherein the concentration of oxygen in the condensate which is deaerated in the condenser in prevented from rising and the period required for starting a steam turbine plant can be shortened, by introducing steam present outside a steam turbine between a ceiling plate of a hot well and the liquid level of the condensate stream so that the steam is caused to flow in a condensate flowing passage and to cover part of the surface of the condensate.
      CONSTITUTION: Dripping condensate 5 is allowed to drip onto an upper ceiling plate 9 and the hot well ceiling plate 7, and flows as a condensate thin film stream 30 on the hot well ceiling plate 7 into the hot well 8 where it is stored as condensate 6. Between the flowing surface of the condensate 6 and the hot well ceiling plate 7 is introduced steam from outside. An auxiliary steam pipe 21 is provided and extended via a scavenging auxiliary steam valve 27 to the space 11 over the condensate. Auxiliary steam 29 introduced into the space 11 over the condensate flows in a direction opposite to the flowing direction of the condensate flow 31, and further flows to cover the surface of the condensate thin film stream 30 so that the gas having a high oxygen concentration is swept. Thus, old non-deaerated water would not dwell in the hot well 3 for a long time so that there is no possibility that oxygen is redissolved into the fresh deaerated water.
