      SOLUTION: This device has structure having a drive means for driving an objective lens of a disk device and a position control means for shifting the driving means of the objective lens. When a power source is not applied or the device is in a non-control state in which the objective lens is not controlled though a power source is applied, the objective lens is arranged to a position being separated farther from a disk position than the position at the time of a control state of the objective lens. Also, when the device is to be in a control state, the driving means of the objective lens is shifted by the position control means, and the objective lens is arranged to the prescribed position of the time of the control state.

Also, a phase adjusting means and an amplitude adjusting means which detect the phase difference and the amplitude ratio of the tracking error signal to the focus error signal and match the phase difference to amplitude of the tracking error signal are provided, and the tracking error signal matching the phase to amplitude is subtracted from the focus error signal by a signal adding means.
