CONSTITUTION: A compression mechanism of a rotary compressor has a roller 6 which is rotatably inserted into an eccentric part 3a of a crankshaft and eccentrically rotating in a bore of a cylinder 4. A vane groove is formed in the cylinder 4 and a vane 5 inserted into it is pressed against the outer circumferential face of the roller 6. In this case, an abutting member 20 fixed via a spring 21 is slidably inserted into the eccentric part 3a. This abutting member 20 is so provided that its gravity center is positioned in the opposite side across the shaft center of the crankshaft 3 from the abutting side of the roller 6 internal diameter. This constitution allows the abutting part of the abutting member 20 to separate from the roller 6 internal diameter face in high speed rotation of the crankshaft 3.

    • PURPOSE:To enable cutting of an enclosed container without damaging a frame during repairy of a compressor and to enable re-utilization of an internal parts by a method wherein a longitudinal groove is formed in the outer periphery of a frame through the medium of which a compressor structure part and an electric motor are mounted to the enclosure container. CONSTITUTION:A compressor structure part 2 and an electric motor 1 are supported to a frame 5, and the outer periphery of the frame 5 is welded to the inner peripheral wall of an enclosed container 9 to manufacture an enclosed type rotary compressor. A groove 11, extended in the longitudinal direction of an enclosed container, is formed in a part of the outer periphery of the frame 5. As a result, when the internal parts of the enclosed rotary compressor is repaired, the container can be cut by means of the groove 11 part of the frame 5, and this prevents damaging of the frame 5, resulting in the possibility to re-utilize the frame 5 and other internal parts as they are.

    • PURPOSE: To improve reliability of a compressor using a refrigerant containing no chlorine by arranging a member which presses the inner periphery of a roller against the eccentric part of a crankshaft and forming the eccentric part at a lower bearing, and bringing the member into contact with and separation from the bore of the roller according to the rotation angle of the crankshaft. CONSTITUTION: A bush 16 has an upper end part fitted in a groove 4c formed in the eccentric part of a crankshaft 4 and is rotated togetherwith the crankshaft 4. The installation position of the bush 16 is constantly filled with oil during operation. Thus, wear of a crankshaft 4 sliding over the bush 16, the inner periphery of a roller 3, and a cam 7a arranged at a lower bearing is suppressed. Simultaneously, the lower part of the bush 16 is slid over the cam 7a and when, with a vane arrangement position being 0 deg., the rotation angle of a crankshaft is approximate 90-270 deg. with the rotation direction of a crankshaft, the bush 16 is pressed against the inner periphery of the roller 3. Thus, the roller 3 is slid over a vane 5, slide formation where oil is discharged is dissipated, oil is always fed, wear is prevented from occurring.

    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to prevent the reliability of discharge valves from lowering, by forming a discharge sound suppressing chamber with a lower bearing member and a cup-shape muffler, and by communicating the discharge sound suppressing chamber with the discharge valve chamber so that no liquid stagnate in the discharge valve chamber. CONSTITUTION:A discharge sound suppressing chamber 10 which is formed with a lower bearing 11 blocking a lower part opening in a cylinder chamber 6 and a lid-like cup 21 press-fitted on the outer periphery of a flange 9, is communicated with a discharge valve chamber 18 by means of a through-hole formed in the flange 9. Accordingly, during operation of the compressor no liquid stagnates in the discharge valve chamber 18 so that no discharge valves 19 cooperating with discharge ports 17 operate in the liquid. Thus, it is possible to prevent the reliability of the discharge valves from lowering, and no delay in closing of the discharge valves due to operation in the liquid occurs, thereby it is possible to enhance the volumetric efficiency of the compressor.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the volumetric efficiency of the compressor and the working property of a valve section by a method wherein a through hole, having a configuration engaging with the outer profile of the valve pocket piece, is arranged on a bearing flange section and the valve pocket piece is inserted forcibly into the through hole. CONSTITUTION:The valve pocket piece 6 is formed by a sintered alloy previously while screw holes 1 for fixing a valve, a flat section 2 for fixing the valve, a seat section 3, a recessed section 4 and a delivery hole 5 are formed on the piece 6. The bearing flange section 7 is provided with the through hole 8 engaging with the outer profile of the valve pocket piece 6 and the valve pocket piece 6 is inserted into the through hole 8 forcibly. According to this method, the valve pocket section necessitates no cutting work and the thickness of the valve pocket piece may be made thin, therefore, the volumetric efficiency may be improved and the working of the valve section may be facilitated.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the pressing force of a blade to a roller and improve the reliability by providing a means for changing the pressing force of the blade. SOLUTION: A blade 5 having a spring 12 mounted on the back surface is pressed in the direction of a roller. In a valve device for regulating the back pressure of the blade 5, a plate 13c is pressed up by the pressure of a back pressure chamber 2c when the internal pressure of the back pressure chamber 2c is larger than the resultant force of the sucking pressure and the force of the spring 13a of a valve mechanism, and the back pressure chamber 2c is allowed to communicate with a suction port 2a to reduce the internal pressure of the back pressure chamber 2c. When the pressure of the back pressure chamber 2c is lower than the resultant force of the sucking pressure and the force of the spring 13a, the plate 13c blocks a pressure chamber 13d again. Although the internal pressure of the back pressure chamber 2c is regularly raised by the slight leak to the back pressure chamber 2c through the clearance between the blade groove 2b of a cylinder 2 and the compressing chamber side of the blade 5, the internal pressure of the back pressure chamber 2c is controlled to a pressure having a constant pressure difference to the sucking pressure by the effect of the valve device. Accordingly, the pressing-force of the blade 5 to the roller can be reduced.

CONSTITUTION:In a vertical type rotary compressor wherein an electric motor part is arranged at the inner upper part of a closed container to store freezer oil and a compression mechanism part at the inner lower part thereof, the eccentric part 4a of a crank shaft is provided with a crank shaft lateral hole 4c running from a feed oil passage 4b in a crank shaft to an outside diameter; a crank shaft oil groove 4d formed in the outside diameter of the eccentric part in a state to be communicated with the lateral hole 4c; a roller outer peripheral groove 3c formed in the outer periphery of a roller 3 and having approximately the same curvature as that of the tip part of a vane 5; a roller through-hole 3a formed through the bore of the roller to the outer peripheral groove; and a roller oil groove 3b formed in the deepmost part of the outer peripheral groove in parallel to the outer peripheral groove. Freezer oil pumped up in the feed oil passage 4b is forcibly fed between the roller and the vane through intercommunication of the roller through-hole 3a and the crank shaft lateral hole 4c to form an oil film. Further, coping with an alternate refrigerant containing no chlorine is practicable.

The oil feed path 7a is blocked up by a roller 3 or put in such a position to open to the inside diameter side of the roller top dead center.

    • PURPOSE:To optimize the intermediate pressing pressure in a wide operating load range by providing a circular groove near the outer periphery of the end plate of a revolving scroll facing a fixed scroll, communicating it with a delivery pressure section, and forming a gas passage from the circular groove to an intermediate back pressure gas chamber. CONSTITUTION:A circular groove 21 is provided near the outer periphery of the end plate 3b of a revolving scroll 3 facing a fixed scroll 2, it is communicated with a communicating hole 12 formed on the end plate 3b, and it is communicated with the inside of a boss section 3c. An intermediate pressure chamber 24 applied with the intermediate pressure between the intake pressure and the delivery pressure is formed in the space surrounded by the back face of the end plate 3b of the revolving scroll 3 and a frame 4. The delivery side pressure is applied to the circular groove 21 via the communicating hole 12. When the compression load is increased to a high load and the pressing of the end plate 3b of the revolving scroll 3 becomes insufficient, the revolving scroll 3 is tilted. The high-pressure gas flows into the intermediate chamber 24 via the circular groove 21 to increase the pressing force of the back face of the end plate 3b of the revolving scroll 3.
