    • PURPOSE: To enhance the wear and corrosion resistances of a sliding structure by using a sliding side member obtd. by cold working an alloy consisting of a specified amt. of C, Ni, Cr, Mo and the balance Fe, and a fixed side member consisting of a specified amt. of C, Ni, Cr, Mo, Ti, Al and the balance Fe.
      CONSTITUTION: The title structure is formed using a sliding side member obtd. by cold working an alloy consisting of C ≤ 0.8%, Ni; 8W55%, Cr: 15W28%, Mo; 7W15% and the balance Fe, and a fixed side member consisting of C ≤ 0.5%, Ni; 8W47%, Cr; 15W22%, Mo ≤ 7%, T and/or Al ≤ 5% and the balance Fe. The structure is esp. used as a reactor core control rod, and a sliding structure not causing a trouble due to induced radioactivity of Co is obtd. which structure is e.g. a pin and a roller for a fuel control rod requiring superior corrosion and wear resistances.
