    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain radioactive nuclide to be again deposited on the piping where the radioactive nuclide of a nuclear power plant under operation is already deposited. SOLUTION: The primary piping of a nuclear power plant is cut at the area where a coolant containing radioactive nuclide is made to flow and a dose is already high at a step S2, and a device to collect radioactive waste liquid generated with a decontamination device and at a decontamination process is connected thereto at a step S3. Then, the inner surface of the piping is decontaminated at steps S4 and S5. Subsequently, a heating device is installed on the piping at steps S6 for the heating thereof in a gaseous phase containing 0.1% or more of oxygen, thereby forming a dense oxidized film having thickness between 1nm and 100nm at a step S7. After the heating device and the radioactive waste liquid collection device are demounted at steps S8 and S9, the piping is restored to an original state at a step S10. According to this construction, a coolant containing radioactive nuclicle can be prevented from being deposited directly on the metal surface of the piping, and the deposition thereof after reuse on the metal surface can be restrained.

    • PURPOSE:To stably and accurately measure pH in a wide temp. range without receiving the effect of water quality, by calculating the elution speed of a metal ion in the metal in a solution to be measured and calculating pH of the solution to be measured on the basis of said speed. CONSTITUTION:Flow passage valve 1, 21 are opened by the operation of a valve control device 7 receiving the control signal of the main control device 8 of a pH measuring apparatus and the temp. of sample water branched from the flow passage system of high temp. water is measured by the thermometer 2 of a measuring line 42. Further, the concn. of dissolved oxygen is measured by dissolved oxygen densitometer 3 for high temp. and the temp. of sample water and the concn. of oxygen are applied to the control device 8. Next, electric conductivity is measured by an electric conductivity meter 5 and sample water is made to flow to an elution column 4 packed with metal oxide and metal ion corresponding to pH is eluted from a metal. The conductivity of sample water when the metal ion is eluted is measured by an electric conductivity meter 10 and the measured value is outputted to the control device 8. The metal ion is collected by a high temp. filter 6 and, thereafter, high temp. water is returned to the flow passage system 41 to accurately measure pH.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent from friction scratches on sheath tube outer circumference surface by making a part in contact with nuclear fuel rod of spacer as a revolving body. CONSTITUTION:Spacer 2 arranges wire 22 with spring and straight wire 21 in a lattice shape within spacer band 6 which fixed the outer circumference of a plurality of nuclear fuel rods 3. Revolving body 23 in contact with the outer circumference surface of sheath tube 14 of respective nuclear fuel rod 3 is inserted into wire 22 with spring and straight wire 21 to form the contact section. Both ends of mounting section of revolving body 23 of wire 21 with spring are somewhat bent in a bow shape to provide elasticity. Revolving body 23 is forming the cross section of V shape groove in the outer axial direction which rubs to the outer circumference axial direction of nuclear fuel rod 3. For mounting nuclear fuel rod, revolving body 23 is revolving even nuclear fuel rod 3 and revolving body 23 are in contacting, which can be mounted without scratching nuclear fuel rod 3 owing to having elastic wire.

    • PURPOSE: To suppress the adhesion of a radioactive material to reduce the surface dosage by forming a layer of a metal oxide to which the radioactive material is hardly adhered on the primary cooling water contact part of structural member. CONSTITUTION: The surface of a structural member is finished into a mirror surface by buffing or electrolytic polishing, and a film of a metal oxide having corundum structure is formed on the water contact part most outside surface of the mirror surface. The metal oxide of corundum structure works as an insulating body to extremely reduce the permeability of radioactive ion, and an ion exchange reaction is made difficult to occur. Since the surface is polished into a mirror surface, the oxide film of corundum structure can be formed in the state where the crack of the film accompanying increase in compression stress at the growth of the oxide film is minimized, and the suppressing effect is enhanced. The adhesion of radioative can be thus suppressed to the surface coming into contact with primary cooling water of a structural member such as the pressure vessel outer piping or pump of a core water recirculating system or core water purifying system, and the surface dosage cart be reduced to reduce the exposure of a worker engaged in maintenance and inspection.
