      CONSTITUTION: When the demand of updating is issued from an outside memory device 4 to a main memory device 2, an operation part 35 discriminates each block whether there are records corresponding to the specified condition within the block or not, and if such records exist, it calculates the address of such records. As the result of the calculation, an output part 36 checks a buffer ID and a process demand from the buffer state table 34, and transfers the block among the buffer for block corresponding to buffer ID and a processing demand ID corresponding thereto from buffer part 33 to a device 2.

    • PURPOSE:To successively obtain the tables of the descendant or ancestor element gatherings of the sequential generations, by using a table of designated element gatherings as a 1st initial gathering and then repeating the collating processes. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 1 sets a variable (h) showing a hierarchical level at 0 and registers the names and the number of elements into an intermediate element table (1). The information are sent to a sorter 4 and sorted and then registered into an intermediate element table (2). These sorted information are sent to a sorted information buffer 32. A prejoin device 3 reads a parentage table 51 into an input buffer 33 and collated with the table (2) via a collation processing part 31. This collation result is outputted to an output buffer 34 and registered into the table (1). When the reading action is through with the parentage, the descendant elements are read out of a descendant element list 81 and sorted by the sorter 4. These sorted elements are sent to the buffer 32 and collated with a parts information table 61 via the part 31. This collation result is outputted continuously to a descendant element attribute table 71 up to the end of the table 61.
