    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively absorb stresses acting on a building, by adjusting the stresses by a pivot means separating a pair of axial structural members from each other by a specified distance and connecting them so as to slide and a fixing means elastically connecting respective axial structural members. SOLUTION: The front end faces of columnar bodies 23, 23 are separated from each other by a specified distance and the protrusion 23A is formed to contact the spherical sliding face a of the recess 23B. After the insertion holes 23b, 23b of the flanges 23a, 23a of these columnar bodies have been positioned, bar bodies 24 are inserted in these holes and fixed to the parts exposed from the rear end face of the columnar body with fixing members 26 through coil springs 25.
