    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems about a conventional method: a system, wherein a heater is installed, is lacking in easiness of maintenance and inexpensiveness of a device; and a device is hard to constitute, due to the existence of a vertical rib and a horizontal rib, serving as a strength member of a track steel beam, when a hot-air type snow-melting system is to be applied to the track steel beam. SOLUTION: A duct is mounted inside the track steel beam in accordance with the arrangement of the strength member of the steel beam; a top surface of the duct is provided with an opening; and a hot-air heater is connected to the duct. The top surface of the duct serves as a traveling surface of the track steel beam.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolator for pneumatic levitation, which is facilitated in practical use by reducing the occupying area of the whole base isolator including a feeder for compressed air and excellent in base isolating performance. SOLUTION: This base isolator is formed by providing an air jetting mechanism on the lower surface of a base isolation table, and taking an air jet receiving surface as an upper surface of an air feeder storing box. The air feeder is formed by a pressure air tank for storing the pressure air, an electromagnetic valve for feeding and interrupting pressure air, a regulator for regulating the pressure of the pressure air, an air pipe for connecting between them, and a vibration sensor. An earthquake wave is sensed, and opening and closing of the electromagnetic valve is controlled according to an electric signal to feed compressed air. The air pipe of the air feeder is connected to a coupling mounted on a top plate of the air feeder storing box to feed compressed air to a flexible tube and an air pad constituting the air jet mechanism, and the base isolation table connected to the air pad is floated by air to be isolated from vibration of an earthquake.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective and reliable system for detecting the abnormality of a vehicle and a method therefor, by detecting the presence of abnormality on a carriage and a vehicle body with sound measurement to integrate with detailed viewing focused body parts and hammering tests when they are put out or put in a rail yard.
      SOLUTION: The system provides rail joints on a part of a traveling rail in the vehicle base; catches vibrations of the carriage and each portion of the vehicle body with a sound when they are slowly passed through these rail joints at a constant speed (5-10 km/h) by ground equipment; and detects the abnormality by the comparison with a normal state.
