    • PURPOSE:To effectively utilize the display screen of a computer which has an interactive system using a position coordinate input device. CONSTITUTION:The position coordinate input device 201 indicates the display position of a mouse cursor on the display screen and an input information control part 202 decides whether the position coordinates from the input device 201 are in a previously defined menu display execution area. A menu panel display control part 203 makes the input information control part 202 holds display/nondisplay information on operation buttons according to whether the inputted position coordinates are in the previously defined menu area, and passes the display control information to a display information control part 204. When a mouse-down event to a menu button is generated by the input device 201 during menu display operation, the input information control part 202 makes a menu process execution part 206 performs its process. Consequently, only when the input position coordinates from the input device are in the defined area, the operation buttons are displayed, but when not, other image information can be displayed even in the defined area.

    • PURPOSE: To efficiently select a piece of music suitable for a scene by storing plural animations and musical information, displaying the answering animation when the scene is instructed, retrieving the piece of music suitable for the animation when instructed and storing it answering to the scene. CONSTITUTION: Moving image information consisting of plural scenes and the information of recording positions of respective music recorded on plural sheets of CDs in a CD changer 111 are stored beforehand in a prescribed area of an information storage part 105. Then, when the scene is instructed by an input device 101, the moving image answering to the scene is displayed on a prescribed position of a display device 106, and the piece of music suitable for the moving image is instructed. By the instruction, a retrieval information setting part 103, a relevant information detection/control part 104 retrieve the piece of music of the relevant CD from the changer 111 by storage information by using the storage part 105, and stores it answering to the scene. Thus, even when no scene is imagined, the piece of music suitable for the scene is selected efficiently.
