摘要： PURPOSE:To allow accurate, automatic, noncontact detection of deformation of framework in safety by comparing effective length and two crossing angle of each arm in the framework calculated through image processing with those of normal framework. CONSTITUTION:When the vehicle advances into a garage, a shoedetecting section detects a shoe and an ITV control section 71 outputs a control signal. An ITV camera 62 picks up the image continuously and when a framework arrives at a predetermined position, a control signal is inputted and an image data at that time is stored 722. An image processing section 721 reads out image data from a memory 722, calculates athreshold value Ls and binarizes the Ls, and then extracts the outline (r) of each arm thus calculating each approximation line Rc. Furthermore, a linear equation for the line Rc is determined and the coordinates of eight cross points are determined according to each linear equation and then the lengthof each approximation line, i.e., the effective length of each arm, is calculated based on the difference of coordinate between two cross points and stored 722. Two cross angles are also calculated for each right and left cross point and stored 722. Each data thus calculated is compared 723 with normal.

Consequently, a digital leakage signal S4 supplied to a microcomputer(MC) 23 exceeds a specified signal level, the MC 23 decides the generation of leakage in the air piping system of the railway rolling stock 50 and outputs an alarm signal S5, and the detection of leakage is displayed onto the monitor of a central control chamber and an alarm sound is output.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a measuring apparatus capable of measuring an oil level of an oil level sensor of an axle box efficiently in a considerably short time while a vehicle is running. CONSTITUTION:This measuring apparatus is set at a position where an oil level sensor of an axle box of a running vehicle is photographed. The apparatus is provided with an image pick up device 1, a binarizing means and an oil level-detecting means. In the image pick up device 1, when a vehicle detector 3 detects the vehicle reaching the image pick up position, a strobe 2 projects light thereby to obtain a still image of the oil level sensor and outputs a signal of the image. Image data obtained by converting image signals from the image pick up device 1 to digital values are binarized according to a plurality of binarization levels to form a plurality of binary image data in the binarizing means. Meanwhile, the oil level-detecting means detects a position of the oil level sensor from the binary image data including the image of the oil level sensor, sets a longitudinal level check line in the oil level sensor, measures vertical coordinates where luminance data of pixels on the check line show a great change and detects the oil level.
