    • PURPOSE: To foresee troubles of a constant water level valve without mistakes, by providing a preventive means against trouble-precognition so as not to detect an indication of a trouble from the measured result of the water level of a water receive tank, when an earthquake is detected by an earthquake foreseeing means. CONSTITUTION: In a trouble precognition device 14 provided with a water level detector 8 continuously measuring the water level in a water receive tank 2 of a water supply equipment of a building and a detector catching an indication of troubles of a ball-tap type constant water level valve 11 controlling water supply to the water receive tank 2 in accordance with the measured result of the detector 8, an earthquake-detector 13 is installed. When the detector does not detect earthquakes, the measured figure of the water level is transmitted to the detecting part through a preventive means against trouble precognition to diagnose the trouble precognition. When the detector 13 detects an earthquake, the measured figure of the water level is not transmitted to the detecting part in the preventive means against trouble precognition and further, the indication of troubles is not detected from the measured result of water level. When the water level has varied due to an earthquake, the trouble of valve 11 is foreseen so that the variation is not regarded as an indication of the valve trouble by mistake.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a water-level measuring method, which compensates for the effect of a voltage for measuring water resistance between electrode rods and can accurately detect the water level based on the resistance between the electrode rods. CONSTITUTION:The AC voltage having the commercial frequency is applied on electrode rods 1, 2 and 3 for setting the initial value from a measuring power supply. The magnitude of the voltage is detected with a voltage measuring means 6 and inputted into a water-level operating means 10. Current detecting means 7 and 8 detect the currents flowing through the water between the electrode rods 1 and 2 and 1 and 3 for setting the initial value and input the values into the water-level operating means 10. With the water-level detecting means 10, the appropriate expression of the exponential function of the resistance of water is operated and obtained based on the signals of the voltage measuring means 6 and the current detecting means 7 and 8 and the preset lengths of the electrode rods 2 and 3. The water level is operated with the water resistance obtained by the approximate expression of the exponential function and the resistance expression between the rods 1 and 2 for the water-level measurement.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a water supply facility which can detect a trouble of the facility and quickly deal with the trouble shooting by providing a first water level detector steppedly detecting the water level in a water andtank and a second water level detector continuously detecting the water level. CONSTITUTION:A water level detector 13 steppedly detecting a water level and a water level detector 16 continuously detecting a water level are provided in an altitude water tank 3. When the water level in the tank 3 is rising from the water level A to the water level D, the actuating water level of the electrode BC for commanding start of a storage pump 7 of the detector 13 in the vicinity of the water level B is between the detected water level B1 and B2 of the detector 16. If a trouble is generated in the detector 13, the electrode BC does not actuate while the detected water level of the detector 16 rises from B1 to B2, and the warning judging means of predict alarm device 17 judges the abnormality so as to raise an alarm. Convessely, if the detector 16 is troubled, the detector 16 does not output on the water level on which the electrode BC actuates between B1 and B2, and the device 17 similarly raises an alarm.

    • PURPOSE: To reduce judging operation by a monitor staff by extending and setting the detection time of water level variation when earthquake occurrence is detected, and making detection, which is shorter than the set time, ineffective. CONSTITUTION: When a sensor 2b detects an earthquake, a detecting device 3 sends its information to an earthquake processor 6 which decides which of a fault of facilities and the earthquake a state change of a feed water facility equipment is caused and sends the decision result to a processor 4. When the earthquake is detected here, the length of the detection set time of a water level variation detection signal is increased to approximately one minute as an experimental value of continuance of the earthquake and further to the length of a period as a set value of the attenuation time of an impulse of the water level in a water tank depending upon the water tank and the structure characteristic of a building; when the detection continuance is shorter than the period, the detection of the water level variation signal is made ineffective. Consequently, when the earthquake occurrence is detected, the detection time of the water level variation is extended and set and the detection which is shorter than the set time is made ineffective, so the earthquake can be discriminated from fault.
