摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step for a passenger conveyor, which can improve workability for the inside inspection of a truss. SOLUTION: A step 6d to be used for inspection, is provided with a step plate 6c having a key groove 6e, a lock 7 which is fixed to the lower surface of the step plate 6c, and is turned out to be rotatable when a key inserted into the key groove 6e is pushed down, a movable plate 9 to be interlocked with rotation, a connection plate 10 pivoted to the movable plate 9 at its one end, and rod 12 which is pivoted to the other end of the connection plate 10 at its one end, and concurrently, enables the other end to be fitted in a hole 6f provided for a frame 6b, and it is so constituted that the rod 12 is released from the frame 6b with the key rotated so as to allow the step 6c to be removed from the step 6d main body. Therefore, it is thereby realized that inspection operations are labor saving and time saving.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the working property of maintenance within a truss in a passenger conveyor having an inspection footstep by providing a tread separable by operating a tread-side engagement member provided on the reverse side of the inspection footstep from the surface side to release the engagement of the thread-side engagement member with a frame-side engagement member. SOLUTION: An escalator has general footsteps and at least one inspection footstep 10, and the inspection footstep 10 has a pair of insert holes 13 capable of inserting an operating body 12 in the center. A lower support 15 is fixed to the reverse side of a tread 6c, and a link mechanism 14 comprising a rotating member 21 is constituted on the reverse side of the lower support 15, and the link mechanism 14 is movably supported by the lower support 15. When a maintenance work is performed within a truss, the operating body 12 is inserted to the insert hole 13 to rotate the rotating member 21. The tips of the tread-side engagement members 17a and 17b of the link mechanism 14 are then retreated and slipped out from the insert holes of frame-side engagement members 20a and 20b. The tread 6c is separated from a frame 6b in this state.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyer staircase which is excellent in inspection and repair workability of an escalator in the frame structure of a hoistway. SOLUTION: In a link mechanism 81 fitted so as to overhang sideway, including the lower part of a lock 7 fitted in the middle of the bottom of a tread 61' for inspection, its supporting rod 81 is always overhung sideway by the elastic force of a spring and fitted in a supporting hole, so that the tread 61' engages with a staircase 6', however, a key is inserted in the lock 7 and operated at the time of inspecting an escalator. As a result, the supporting rod 81 is moved inwards against the elastic force of the spring, and comes off from the supporting hole 65 to release an engagement condition between the tread 61' and the staircase 6'.
