摘要： A joint image compression system (200, 300) and method (100) compress a target image and a reference image under a selected transform to produce a compressed difference image. The joint image compression system includes a computer readable media (210) and a computer program (220) stored on the computer readable media. The computer program includes instructions that implement selecting (110) a transform from among a plurality of transforms that includes a subset determined projective (SDP) transform, where the selected transform minimizes a cumulative mapping error (CME) for corresponding feature points in each of a target image (302) and a reference image (304). The instructions further implement applying (120) the selected transform to one of the target image and the reference image; forming (130) a difference image under the selected transform and compressing (140) the difference image to produce a compressed difference image.

摘要： An event occurring in a particular geographic region is identified based on disseminated information containing public commentary in the particular geographic region. Attributes that are related to the event are identified, and sentiment words relating to the identified event are extracted from the disseminated information, where the extracted sentiment words are in a local language of the particular geographic region. A sentiment trend visualization is generated that depicts a trend of sentiments of at least a particular one of the identified attributes, wherein the sentiments are based on the sentiment words for at least the particular attribute.

摘要： A 3D picture frame for making a 3D framed display. A mounted background picture is bent into a concavo-convex shape for adding a 3D effect to the displayed picture. A mounted bottom edge picture achieves a depth of the field and a wrap-around effect. A floating picture, which is preferably a self trimmed composite picture for bearing a customer’s image, obtained without manual trimming process, is displayed in front of and spaced apart from the background picture. A created arch-shaped void space in this frame can house one or more magnetically held 3D arts therein. A toy platform can be installed to turn the 3D picture frame into a play-and-display station. An animated 3D art with a built-in insert will add “live” to the 3D framed display. All above contents can be mounted or removed without taking down the frame body from the wall.
