The antibiotic kasugamycin is produced by cultivating a strain of Streptomyces kasugaspinus FIIST No. 72, or a kasugamycin-producing mutant thereof, in an aqueous medium containing an assimilable source of carbon and nitrogen under submerged aerobic conditions. A typical medium comprises maltose, soybean meal, KHPO 4 , MgSO 4 .7H 2 O, NaCl, CuSO 4 .7H 2 O, ZnSO 4 .5H 2 O, peptone, CaCO 3 and soybean oil. Kasugamycin is isolated from the fermentation broth by methods disclosed in Specification 1,094,566.

The acid addition salts, salts, esters and amides of I are also claimed per se and may be prepared by conventional modification of I. Pharmaceutical compositions used as pepsin inhibitors comprise the compound I or one of its pharmacologically acceptable derivatives in conjunction with a suitable carrier or diluent.

摘要： A pantograph-type jack comprising a plurality of upper jack arm assemblies each of which includes a pair of opposite jack arms having inner toothed ends pivoted to a movable load support member and in engagement with each other. The jack has a plurality of lower jack arm assemblies, each of which includes a pair of opposite jack arms having the inner toothed ends pivoted to a stationary base member and in engagement with each other. Spaced movable support blocks are provided for pivotally supporting the outer ends of the jack arms of the upper and lower jack arm assemblies, with one of said support blocks having a center coarsely threaded bore threadedly engaging a first rod while the other support block has a center plain bore which supports a second rod. A sleeve having one end fixedly attached to the adjacent end of the first rod is provided with a finely threaded inner surface that is threadedly engaged by the second rod, which, in turn, is connected to a receiving member 14 for actuating the jack.
