摘要： Provided are a bS derivation process and a deblocking filtering method and apparatus using illumination compensation and/or chrominance compensation, such as a multi-view video coding, in a picture coding/decoding process in which a prediction coding is performed. If neither of the two blocks are intra-coded, neither of the two blocks do contain a none-zero transformed coefficient, and motion compensation for the two blocks is performed based on the identical reference frame and the absolute difference between the horizontal or vertical components of the two motion vectors of the two blocks is less than 1, the bS of the two blocks is derived by considering whether the two blocks are coded by illumination compensation (IC) according to an embodiment of the present invention. Specifically, if both of the two blocks are coded by IC mode or neither of the two blocks are coded by IC mode, bS is set as such a value that filtering is unnecessary. On the other hand, if both of the two blocks are coded by IC mode and the blocks have different illumination change values, or only one of the blocks is coded by IC mode, the bS is derived using difference of illumination change values or the illumination change value.

The stream receiving unit is configured to receive multiplexed stream of video stream and signaling information describing the video stream. The decoding unit is configured to decode the demultiplexed video stream by using the signaling information. 摘要： The construction method of NALU (Network Abstraction Layer Unit) for IPv6 label switching and its using algorithms of video encoding, QoS control, and decoding are provided. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the NALU format is composed of the NALH (Network Abstraction Layer Header) including the label and the NAL (Network Ab straction Layer) payload. Here, the label is determined based on layer information which is combination of a spatial scalable level, a temporal scalable level, and a quality scalable level of the encoded data. The decoder uses the label to decide which one of multiple decoding modules is used to decode the current NAL payload. Moreover, the label can be included in the packet header so that the MANE (Media Aware Network Element) can use the label to decide whether to forward the packet or drop it. For example, the label in the packet header can be used for QoS control of video service by using the flow label field in IPv6 packet header The IPv6 router can identify priority of the video packet by using the 20 bit long flow label, into which the label in NALH can be inserted. According to the embodiment, the MANE assumed in the MPEG and JVT (Joint Video Team) can be implemented effectively.

The file format for an encoded stereoscopic image includes an image data unit containing image information of the encoded stereoscopic image and a header unit containing meta data used to decode and reproduce the image information of the encoded stereoscopic image contained in the image data unit. The header unit can include at least one header unit of a camera header sub-unit containing information on left and right cameras used to acquire the stereoscopic image, a codec header sub-unit containing information on the encoding of the stereoscopic image, and a display header sub-unit containing information on a barrier type display apparatus for receiving and reproducing the encoded stereoscopic image data.

摘要： Provided is a method for performing motion compensated temporal filtering (MCTF)-based coding on a video sequence using the structure of adaptively divided group of pictures (GOP). The method includes the steps of, for each predefined 2N frame-sized group of pictures (GOP) of the video sequence, (a) encoding the 2N frame-sized GOP of the video sequence based on each of the different GOP sizes from the maximum size, 2N, to the minimum size, 2N (M is an integer between 1 and N) and obtaining different values between frames reconstructed after the encoding is performed and frames after the MCTF is performed, based on each of the different GOP sizes; (b) selecting at least one sub-GOP based on the difference values obtained by encoding the 2N frame-sized GOP of the video sequence based on each of the different GOP sizes; and (c) generating a bitstream by encoding the 2N-frame-sized GOP based on the at least one selected sub-GOP. Thereby, the MCTF-based video coding is performed by adaptively dividing the GOP size based on performance and thereby obtains high coding efficiency.
