摘要： A crash-tolerant system arrangement in an engine compartment situated in the front end region of a motor vehicle includes an exhaust emission control system having an essentially cylindrical first catalytic converter housing situated in front of the exhaust gas turbocharger in the travel direction. The exhaust gas turbocharger is mechanically connected to an exhaust gas manifold via a first fastening device, and to an engine block via a second fastening device, the first and the second fastening devices being designed in such a way that a detachment of the connection of the exhaust gas turbocharger to the exhaust gas manifold and/or a detachment of the connection of the exhaust gas turbocharger to the engine block take(s) place within a predefined upper value range for the pressure force.

摘要： The invention relates to a flange arrangement (2, 14, 25) of an engine cylinder head (22) and to a process for producing it. To simplify them as much as possible without losing the functionality of the flange arrangement (2, 14, 25), it is proposed that the flange arrangement (2, 14, 25) have at least two single-piece individual flanges (1a-d, 13a-c, 26), which bear against one another with in each case at least one peripheral region (8a-d, 15, 20, 28, 29) overlapping, in such a manner that in the overlapping area their securing bores (3, 16, 27) for attaching them to the cylinder head (22) are aligned.

The exhaust manifold includes an inner pipe and an outer pipe with a connecting flange on the cylinder head side of the outer pipe. The outer pipe encloses the inner pipe and is spaced therefrom at a distance. A pipe end of the inner pipe protrudes in a guided manner into the cylinder head and only the outer pipe is fastenable to the cylinder head by way of the connecting flange.

The channels are sealed alternately at the ends by plugs and are separated from one another by porous partition walls. 摘要： A pipe clamp with a headed bolt for securing a pipe connection, in particular pipes of the exhaust system of a motor vehicle which are to be connected to one another, in the case of which the end of a first pipe is pushed into an axially slit end of a second pipe and, when the headed bolt is tightened, the pipe clamp, fitted on the slit pipe end, connects the two pipe ends to one another in a frictionally locking manner, is to be secured against a reduction in clamping force. For this purpose, the pipe clamp is formed of a material which has a higher coefficient of expansion than does the material of the pipes which are to be connected. The head of the headed bolt is elongated, in order to avoid impermissibly high local stressing during tightening of the pipe clamp. Due to the elongate form of the head of a headed bolt, the forces on the pipe clamp which support the tightening torque are reduced by a lengthening of the lever arm with respect to the axis of the headed bolt.
