摘要： An aircraft has a generally circular main body including an upper surface portion supported for rotation about a central passenger compartment to produce a gyroscopic effect on the aircraft. The rotatable upper surface portion includes viewable panes therein arranged to provide visibility therethrough from the central passenger compartment to an exterior of the main body. An engine communicates between a central inlet opening in the upper surface portion and an exhaust opening in the bottom of the main body to provide upward thrust to the aircraft.

A thermoset material is used as an encapsulant to form a solid magnetic sensor in which the magnetically sensitive component, the permanent magnet and a portion of the flexible substrate are encapsulated within the thermoset material after it solidifies. A portion of the flexible substrate extends from an end of the solidified encapsulant to permit electrical connection to other components and devices.

摘要： A magnetic sensor is provided with a housing in which a carrier is inserted. The carrier is particularly shaped to retain a permanent magnet in a particular position relative to a plurality of electrical conductors and a substrate on which a magnetically sensitive component is attached. The carrier and its associated components is inserted into a housing which can be deformed to permanently retain the carrier within a cavity of the housing. All of the components of the sensor are designed to be easily assembly along a common axis to facilitate automatic assembly and manufacture of the sensor. The magnetically sensitive component can be a Hall effect element that is associated with other electrical components which are also attached to a substrate that is disposed proximate a front end of the carrier.

摘要： An antiglare device comprises a housing for coupling to a headlight of a vehicle. Surfaces of the housing which face a passenger side of the vehicle are reflective to encourage reflection of light away from oncoming traffic while surfaces of the housing facing towards the driver side of the vehicle are preferably non-reflective to reduce the amount of light reflected towards oncoming traffic. Plates may be supported within the housing through which the light passes in which the plates similarly include reflective and non-reflective surface. The plates may be pivotal between a high beam position parallel to the direction of light projected through the housing and a low beam position in which the plates are deflected in the direction in which the reflective surfaces face towards the passenger side. The plates may instead be horizontal in the high beam position and deflected downwardly in the low beam positions.

The two materials are adhered by a two-component polyisocyanurate adhesive, and both the polyisocyanurate adhesive and the polyisocyanurate foam layer undergo polymerization concurrently and in place. 摘要： A mass air flow sensor having a probe body defining a first arcuate passageway connecting a flow entrance opening aligned with an axis and a flow exit opening offset from the axis so that contaminants suspended in fluid flowing through the first passageway are driven by centrifugal force toward the outer wall thereof. A second passageway is connected to a sampling port in the inner wall of the first passageway, and has located therein a flow detector of the type having a thin film heater and at least one thin film heat sensor spaced from the heater along the direction of flow.
