    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sensitive methods for measuring mRNA level in biopsied tumor tissues, about 190 breast cancer gene sets important in diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer, and genes included in gene sets used for treatment of breast cancer via the activation or breakage of biochemical controlling route or have influence on the reaction of the patient to the latently effective medicines, and provide the importance of abnormally low or high expressions of indentified genes. SOLUTION: This is a method for predicting the clinical test results of a patient diagnosed with a cancer and the steps for determining the expression level of one or more genes in the cancer tissues or their expression products from the patient wherein the genes are selected from the group consisting of p53BP2, cathepsin, cathepsin L, Ki67/MiB1 and thymidine kinase and the expression level is normalized to the control gene and include a step for comparing the results with the amount observed in the standard cancer tissue set.
