摘要： The saddle of a motor-cycle has a central upper part (2) which is mounted in a metal frame (6) which is pivoted to the main part of the saddle at its front end (7). In the event of a collision with an obstacle, a device (20-53) under the upper part (2) tends to move forwards relative to the saddle (1). This movement releases a bolt (6) which holds the central upper part (2) to the main part (1). The upper part (2) has a weight (5) embedded in its rear end. When the bolt (60) is released, this weight causes the upper part (2) of the saddle to swing upwards and forwards, flinging the rider clear of the obstacle. USE - Motor-cycle safety.

摘要： The starter flywheel (10) for internal combustion engines is primarily mounted on the crankshaft end (2) of the engine (1) in front of the flywheel disc (20) of the engine (1) so that it is free to turn in the direction of rotation (a and b) and so that in braking of the vehicle the starter flywheel disc (20) is locked in the direction of rotation (B) by a coupling device and the crankshaft (2) rotating in the direction of rotation (a) is thereby also set in rotational movement in the direction of rotation (a). When starting up again the starter flywheel (10) is coupled, especially by means of a V-belt (40), to the starter motor pinion (31) already engaged in the ring gear (21) of the engine flywheel disc (20), as a result of which the engine is started by means of the rotational energy of the starter flywheel (10) moving in the direction of rotation (a). Where necessary, in cold starting of the engine, the starter flywheel (10) in a first, also omittable stage is first brought to the necessary speed by means of a two-stage ignition lock and thereafter connected for support to the starter motor pinion (31) of the starter motor (30).

摘要： The tipping seat in a car is used to hold and protect a baby. The whole seat faces forward in the travel direction (A). It is so constructed that the seat and the child restrained within it are, in the event of a sudden braking action, tilted through an arc (B) to assume a reclining position relative to the direction of travel. The seat is held in place by a mounting which incorporates fracture points or has a release mechanism which reacts to a given inertial pressure. 摘要： The two roots (2,3) are embedded in the front and rear walls of the hard part (10) of the prosthesis base. The flanks of the thus formed tooth base spring away when biting load occurs in either of two directions (A,B), thereby absorbing a part of the bite force. The tooth base transmits a vertiacl bite pressure over a larger surface of the prosthesis base and the tooth ridge beneath it. A tooth anchored in this manner does not become loose, as is often the case with known artificial teeth. Also, much more space can be used with a hydro-dynamic prosthesis for the hydraulic cushion embedded in the soft lower lining. USE/ADVANTAGE - In dentistry, to provide an individual artificial tooth which overcomes the static anchoring disadvantages with known teeth which have a virtually flat base.

摘要： Soil which has been contaminated chemically or radioactively is cleaned in situ by mobile washing plant, using suitable solvents and/or binding agents for the elutriation. The process is applied in at lesast two stages, resting on balloon tyres has a cent bucket wheel to excavate the soil which is tipped on a plastic screen plate which oscillates and is made of explosion-proof plastic material. Several graded screens follow in an enclosed chamber and nozzles spray a solvent on the soil. In the second stage, the chemically cleaned soil is passed to a second separate screening system where steam or hot water remove any remnants of the solvent. Solvent and steam are extracted in containers for distillation and re-use. ADVANTAGE - Soil is returned at once to site. Much of the solvent used can be recovered.
