摘要： A system and method for identifying objects of interest in image data is provided. The present invention utilizes principles of dynamic discontinuity in which objects in images, when subjected to special transformations, will exhibit radically different responses based on the chemical properties of the imaged objects. Using the system and methods of the present invention, certain objects that appear indistinguishable from other objects to the eye or computer recognition systems, or are otherwise statistically identical, generate radically different and statistically significant differences that can be easily measured.

摘要： A system and method for identifying objects of interest (530) in image data is provided. The present invention utilizes principles of Iterative Transformational Divergence in which objects in images, when subjected to special transformations, will exhibit radically different responses based on the physical, chemical, or numerical properties of the object or its representation (such as images), combined with machine learning (440) capabilities. Using the system and methods of the present invention, certain objects that appear indistinguishable from other objects to the eye or computer recognition systems, or are otherwise almost identical, generate radically different and statistically significant differences in the image describers (metrics) that can be easily measured.

摘要： A mold for a nerve cuff having a first molding body defining a first molding cavity and a second molding body defining second molding cavity. The first and second molding bodies being mountable to one another thereby providing for the first and second molding cavities to interface. When interfacing the first and second molding cavities and injecting moldable material therebetween provides the nerve cuff following curing of the moldable material. An industrial mold including interfacing first and second cavities is also disclosed. A removable cassette for interposing between a first and a second molding cavity is also disclosed. Methods of making a nerve cuff are disclosed herein. Nerve cuffs produced by the foregoing molds, cassettes, industrial molds and methods are also disclosed.

摘要： A metal hydride actuator comprising a pressure chamber having a first and second pressure chamber portions and at least one reaction chamber operatively connected to one of the first and second pressure chamber portions, the at least one reaction chamber having a temperature adjustment mechanism and containing therein metal hydride powder. A piston is positioned in the pressure chamber, the piston forming a barrier between the first and second pressure chamber portions, and a movement transmission means is operatively connected to the piston, the movement transmission means being so positioned in the first pressure chamber portion as to exit from an opening in a wall of the first pressure chamber portion. The temperature adjustment mechanism may be used to cause a change of temperature of the metal hydride powder in at least one of the reaction chamber, thereby creating a pressure differential between both pressure chamber portions, causing the piston to move.
