摘要： A container is disclosed which comprises a first cover comprising a first closure portion, an engagement portion, and an alignment portion. The first closure portion is sealingly engageable with a second closure portion of a base so that when the first and second closure portions are engaged with each other, the first cover and the base define a substantially sealed storage area. Adjacently stacked covers in a vertically aligned cover stack are configurable between a first, locked configuration and a second, unlocked configuration. The engagement portion of the first cover when configured in the first, locked configuration, includes an upper protrusion engageable with the engagement portion of a second cover wherein the second cover includes a lower protrusion. The lower protrusion fits over and receives the upper protrusion to lock the covers together in the first locked configuration. The engagement portion of the first cover is engageable with the engagement portion of the second cover when configured in the second, unlocked configuration, to form an aligned, nested cover stack. The first cover rests on an outer wall of the second cover and the first cover includes a lower shoulder and the second cover includes an upper shoulder where the lower shoulder of the upper cover rests on the upper shoulder of the lower cover. The base comprises a bottom, a peripheral sidewall extending from the bottom, an open top, and the second closure portion.

The inner wall includes a third cutback portion and the second closure portion is engageable with the first closure portion to releasably attach the cover to the base. The outer wall of the second closure portion includes a first angled leg that extends downward from the first intermediate wall and partially towards the inner wall to form a first angled leg. The outer wall also includes a first step that protrudes outward and has a second angled leg that extends partially toward the inner wall where the second angled leg includes an outwardly directed flange.
