Said machine comprises: at least one opening element 21 for spreading apart the tube-shaped sheet "F", which is positioned between a first portion "s1" and a second portion "s2" of the sheet "F"; at least one actuating device 3 for moving said first portion "s1". Said machine further comprises at least one first striker element 22 for defining a first folding point for making a first side "11" of the bag bottom "B" after said first portion "s1" has been moved, and at least one second striker element 23, inclined by an angle "a" relative to said first element 22, for defining a second folding point for making a second side "12" of the bag bottom "B" after said first portion "s1" has been moved.
