    • A method and apparatus is provided to discover and integrate applications in an application router framework. The discovery operation includes receiving a registration notification for an application on a network, adding information describing the application to a repository into a data structure and publishing the data structure onto an application router. The association operations include querying one or more application routers on an application network for meta-data and other information on applications, exchanging the meta-data and other information between the application routers and associating the applications together automatically using their respective application protocols. Routing operations include receiving application information in an application protocol format, converting the application information in the application protocol format into a neutral protocol format and forwarding the application information in the neutral protocol format along with state information to other application router devices on the network.

    • An apparatus for holding various shapes and sizes of bottle openers and which itself is attached to the wearer's belt is described; which includes a roughly cone-shaped holster and a belt loop affixed thereto. The holster is approximately 2 inches in length and is coneshaped with its top, wherein the bottle opener is inserted, being approximately 1 1/2 inches (long axis) by 1 inch (short axis). Its bottom is also open and is approximately 1 inch (long axis) by 3/4 inches (short axis). The holster is composed of flexible elastic neoprene fabric, which is reinforced by a sewn ridge of neoprene along the top and bottom openings. The bottle opener is inserted through the top of the holster with its handle emerging out the smaller bottom of the holster, which handle can then be grasped by the user and pulled down, thereby removing the entire opener through the bottom hole, which expands to allow the wider bottle-opener top to pass through it. The neoprene fabric grips the bottle opener securely yet its expandability allows the same to be removed and reinserted quickly and repeatedly by the user, in one motion. The holster is designed to be attached to the user's belt by way of a loop, alsomade from neoprene fabric, affixed to the holster by either a velcro mechanism or a button or a snap. The present invention relates to an apparatus for a user's holding to his or her body various shapes and sizes of bottle openers, which can be removed and reinserted into the apparatus quickly and repeatedly.
