摘要： An electro-optic element comprises a first substrate; a second substrate generally parallel to the first substrate; a first bus having a first bus segment disposed on an inner surface of the first substrate and extending along a first portion of a perimeter of the first substrate and a second bus segment disposed on an inner surface of first substrate and extending along a second portion of the perimeter of the first substrate. 摘要： A dust cover for an aerospace window that comprises dust cover having an exterior substrate and an interior substrate in a spaced apart relationship with a substantially transparent coupling agent therebetween. The dust cover is disposed in a spaced apart relationship from an electro-optic element, defining a gap therebetween. The gap 30 mm or less, 25 mm, 20 mm, 15 mm, 10 mm, 8 mm, 7 mm, 6 mm, 5 mm, 4 mm, 3.5 mm, and/or 3 mm. The exterior substrate, the coupling agent, and the interior substrate are comprised of a combination of materials, such that the combination is substantially transparent and operable to resist breaking and maintain sufficient rigidity to prevent the electro-optic from breaking, when a force of 680 N is applied to an interior surface of the interior substrate in the direction of the electro-optic element.

摘要： A vehicle display mirror system is disclosed. The system comprises a display device and a reflecting polarizer. The display device is operable to display image data on a display surface as display light. The reflecting polarizer comprises a light receiving surface proximate the display surface and configured to output the display light in a first polarization from an emitting surface. The system further comprises a liquid crystal element, a polarizing element, and a controller. The controller is in communication with the liquid crystal element and configured to selectively align a liquid crystal material to pass the display light through the liquid crystal element and deactivate the liquid crystal element to adjust a received light from the first polarization to a second polarization and reflect the second polarization from the emitting surface.
