摘要： The present invention relates to a method for detecting the methylation of a breast cancer-specific methylation marker gene for breast cancer diagnosis, and more particularly, to a method which involves detecting methylation of a breast cancer-specific methylation marker gene which is methylated specifically in a breast cancer cell, and provides information for the diagnosis of breast cancer or the stage of progression of breast cancer. When the methylation detection method of the present invention is used together with a diagnosis composition, a kit, and a nucleic acid chip, more accurate and quicker early diagnosis of breast cancer can be facilitated as compared to conventional methods, the stage of progression of breast cancer can be checked, and a non-invasive serum sample is made available, to thereby diagnose breast cancer in a more simple and accurate manner.

摘要： PURPOSE: A method for detecting breast cancer using a specific biomarker is provided to accurately and quickly diagnose breast cancer. CONSTITUTION: A biomarker for diagnosing breast cancer or progress of the breast cancer contains methylated CpG of CHL1 gene of which expression is specifically decreased(NM_001257, Cadherin 13, H-cadherin(heart)), and TF gene(NM_001063, iron ion binding protein, transferrin) promoter. The biomarker has a base sequence of sequence number 1 or 2. A method for detecting breast cancer or progress comprises: a step of isolating DNA from a clinical sample; and a step of detecting methylation of CHL1 gene 1 or TF gene from the isolated DNA. The clinical sample is blood, plasma, urine, cell or sputum from a patient who may has breast cancer.
