摘要： A digital clock wherein four numerals corresponding to minutes, tens of minutes, hours and tens of hours are simultaneously displayed. Three rotatable cams are provided for successively indexing the minutes, tens of minutes and hours display indicators, and the cam for the hours display indicator also actuates the tens of hours display indicator. A unique indexing mechanism is positioned between the minutes cam and the tens of minutes cam for indexing the minutes cam one increment each minute and for simultaneously indexing the tens cam one increment at the instant of the tenth actuating increment of the minutes cam.

摘要： A switch actuating and control mechanism for an alarm clock timer wherein a uniquely shaped switch actuating lever is positioned between an alarm time cam and a switch blade. The alarm time cam moves the switch actuating lever in a lateral direction to close the switch at the alarm time. A manually operable lever is pivotally connected to one end of the switch actuating lever for longitudinally sliding the actuating lever on the alarm time cam to open or close the switch.

摘要： An alarm clock timer mechanism having a pair of coaxially mounted gear driven cam members with one of the cam members being axially movable to actuate an alarm or other form of control mechanism at a preset alarm time. One of the cam members is provided with a resiliently mounted cam follower which moves axially toward the other cam member at the alarm time. The resilient mounting allows the follower to ride smoothly on a loer surface of the other cam after the alarm time, thus precluding any high torque resetting loads on a timing motor. A manually operable reset mechanism is provided for axially moving the cam members away from each other to move the control mechanism to its off position and to simultaneously reset the resiliently mounted cam follower on an upper surface of the other cam.

摘要： A sleep switch movement for a clock timer wherein a unique pawl and ratchet mechanism is provided for driving a sleep switch cam. A pawl is counterweighted for urging it into contact with teeth on the sleep cam. The pawl is indexed one increment each minute by a drive mechanism; however, a cam shaft having two flat surfaces is positioned in engagement with the pawl for permitting the pawl to drive teeth on the sleep cam only twice for each revolution of the cam or once every five minutes.
