    • A gas ratio control device for anesthesia apparatus, includes an anesthetic gas feed line, which has, in a series-connected arrangement, a control valve with an inlet chamber, an anesthetic gas-adjusting valve and a first measuring resistance, and an oxygen feed line, which has a second measuring resistance, wherein the dynamic pressure received from the measuring resistances is sent to a proportional element, which controls the control valve. A flow-proportional addition of the anesthetic gas is possible even at low oxygen flow rates. This is achieved by the outlet chamber and the first pressure chamber being connected to one another in one piece in terms of flow. The anesthetic gas-adjusting valve is arranged in front of the inlet chamber of the control valve in terms of flow. A flow resistance is provided between two chambers limited by diaphragms of the proportional element.

    • The invention is directed to a filling arrangement for filling and emptying an anesthetic vaporizer with an anesthetic liquid from a supply vessel via a filling channel and a venting channel. The filling arrangement includes a connecting piece for connecting the arrangement to the anesthetic vaporizer and has a blocking device mounted in a conduit member which includes the filling channel and venting channel. The filling arrangement is improved so that it can be reliably handled with anesthetic liquids having a low boiling point. For this purpose, the blocking device includes a temperature-sensitive switching member which enables the filling channel to be opened below a preselected limit temperature and to be closed above this preselected temperature. The preselected temperature is below the boiling point of the anesthetic liquid.

    • A receiving arrangement is disclosed for filling an anaesthetic medium from a supply vessel into the charging chamber of an anaesthetic apparatus. The supply vessel is connectable to the arrangement by means of a coupling piece. The arrangement includes a receiving structure having an input opening for receiving the coupling piece therein and a connecting part disposed adjacent the receiving structure. The connecting part includes channels communicating with the charging chamber for conducting the anaesthetic medium to the latter. A closure piece is slidably mounted in the receiving structure to slide between a first position opposite the ports and a second position whereat the closure piece is displaced away from the ports. A resilient biasing spring biases the closure piece into the first position. A drive moves the receiving structure between a rest location whereat the closure piece seals the ports with respect to the ambient and an actuating location whereat the receiving structure and the closure piece are displaced away from the ports. The receiving structure can now receive the coupling piece thereby causing the closure piece to be displaced to its second position. The coupling piece and the connecting part conjointly define a connecting interface whereat the anaesthetic medium flows from the coupling piece into the channels when the structure is returned to the rest location with the coupling piece inserted therein. A blocking piece blocks the entry of the coupling piece through the opening when the receiving structure is in its rest location.
