    • The present invention provides a manufacturing method and a manufacturing apparatus of a display device which can overcome the limitation on a tact time, and a defective phenomenon attributed to the generation of bubbles, pasting and visual irregularities at the time of laminating a film to a display panel thus manufacturing a display device having no bubbles, pasting and visual irregularities with high accuracy and at a high speed. A polarizer is positioned in parallel to the vicinity of a main surface of a liquid crystal cell by holding two portions of the polarizer at suction stages. Thereafter, a portion of the polarizer is pushed and brought into contact with the main surface of the liquid crystal cell. Then, from the portion of the polarizer, the polarizer is pushed to the main surface of the liquid crystal cell toward one end of the main surface of the liquid crystal cell along the first direction of the main surface of the liquid crystal cell. Thereafter, the polarizer is pushed to the main surface of the liquid crystal cell toward another end of the main surface of the liquid crystal cell in the first direction so as to laminate the polarizer to the main surface of the liquid crystal cell.
