    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition for inkjet recording with excellent storage stability, an ink pack filled with the ink composition, and an inkjet recording method using the ink composition.SOLUTION: The ink composition for inkjet recording includes a pigment, a pigment dispersant, a polymerizable compound and an ammonium phthalocyanine sulfonate. As the pigment, carbon black is included. As the pigment dispersant, a basic polymeric dispersant is included. As the polymerizable compound, N-vinyl caprolactam is included at 15 wt.% or more of the entire ink composition. The composition satisfies either requirement (i) or (ii): (i) The pH of the carbon black is ≥2.0 and ≤3.5, and the amine value of the basic polymeric dispersant is 25 mgKOH/g or more and less than 40 mgKOH/g; and (ii) the pH of the carbon black is ≥2.0 and ≤7.0, and the amine value of the basic polymeric dispersant is ≥40 mgKOH/g and ≤50 mgKOH/g.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording method capable of obtaining an image having superior metallic appearance (photoluminescence) and having superior abrasion durability, and to provide the printed matter obtained by the above method.SOLUTION: The inkjet recording method includes, in order: an image forming step of forming an image by discharging an effect pigment ink on a recording medium; a transparent ink application step of applying a transparent ink on the recording medium; and a curing step of curing the effect pigment ink and the transparent ink on the recording medium. The inkjet recording method does not have a step of curing the transparent ink between the image forming step and the transparent ink application step, or if it has, the curing rate of the transparent ink is ≤85%. The transparent ink includes a polymerization initiator and a polymerizable compound, and the effectively includes no pigments, and the effect pigment ink includes an effect pigment, a polymerization initiator and a polymerizable compound.
