A conveyance pole S2 and the trimmer 108 are arranged such that a developer G is accumulated at a position such that a bending amount in a vertical direction of the development sleeve 106B is equal to or greater than a bending amount in a horizontal direction thereof. In the development sleeve 106B, bending in the horizontal direction is minimized, so that a center portion of the development sleeve 106B is prevented from being closer to the photoreceptor 62. Accordingly, in the photoreceptor 62 after development, an increase in a development amount at the center portion as compared to a development amount at both end portions in a width direction can be prevented.
