    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer for electrostatic charge image development which is excellent in charging performance (in particular, suppressing reduction in a charge amount after left unattended in a high temperature and high humidity environment) and fixing property. SOLUTION: The developer for electrostatic charge image development includes a toner containing a crystalline polyester resin and a release agent, and a carrier coated with a resin having a siloxane structure. In a cross section of the toner dyed with ruthenium, a structure of the crystalline polyester resin in contact with the release agent is present; the cross-sectional area A of the above structure, a cross-sectional area B of the release agent in a single state, and a cross-sectional area C of the crystalline polyester resin in a single state satisfy 5≤100×A/(A+B+C)≤35; and the toner particles contain a residual alcohol component by 0.01 ppm to 10 ppm.
