    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable stable hydraulic pressure supply by providing a changeover hydraulic route with a proper cross-sectional diameter and to secure necessary changeover required hydraulic pressure even in low speed rotation low in discharge capacity of an oil pump.
      SOLUTION: A locker shaft 10 is inserted and supported between supports 3, 4, 5, a low-speed locker arm 12 and a high-speed locker arm 13 are inserted and attached on the locker shaft 10 free to oscillate by arranging them in parallel, and motion is changed over by connecting and disconnecting both of the locker arms 12, 13 by a changeover pin 33. The inside of a tube of the tubular locker shaft 10 is made into a hydraulic route for lubrication to promote lubrication between the locker arms 12, 13 and the locker shaft 10. Oil supply pipes 42, 44 mounted between the supports 12, 13 and which are different from the locker shaft 10 are made into the changeover hydraulic route to change motion by driving the changeover pin 33.

The lost motion mechanism is structured to energize the high-speed locker arm 13 by a torsion coil spring 71 externally inserted into the locker shaft 10.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cam lob for an engine capable of suppressing collision noise between a cam follower and the cam lob in starting of lift-up by a simple constitution.SOLUTION: A through hole 50 penetrating in an extended direction of a cam shaft 30 is provided in an inside of a lift part 36 projecting from a base circle 35 on an intake cam lob 31, and a slide pin 51 slidable to an inner peripheral surface of the through hole 50 is press-fitted in the through hole 50. Thus, collision noise between the intake cam lob 31 and a roller follower 43 in starting of lift-up of an intake valve 15 can be suppressed by a simple constitution.
