    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the miniaturization of an apparatus and the improvement of a cast quality, in a bottom part molten metal discharging type casting apparatus for discharging the molten metal vacuum-melted from the bottom part of a crucible into a mold.
      SOLUTION: In the bottom part molten metal discharging type casting apparatus, composed of a float-up melting furnace 4 provided with a coil 2 at the outside of the water-cooled metallic crucible 1, and discharging the molten metal from a molten metal tapping hole 3 at the bottom part, the mold 6 disposed at the lower part of the water-cooled metallic crucible 1, and a vacuum-evacuating system for vacuum-evacuating the inner part of the crucible 1 and the mold 6 and melting under float-up the metal 10 in the crucible 1 by supplying the electric power into the coil 2 and casting the molten metal from the tapping hole 3 into the mold 6, the mold 6 closed with a closing vessel 15, is airtightly connected to the bottom surface of the crucible 1. A vacuum/pressurized space in the mold 6 is made to be small by performing the closing of the mold 6 with the closing vessel 15, and the responsiveness of an atmosphere control (vacuum-evacuation and pressurize-control) in the mold 6 is improved.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a rotary tapping type casting apparatus in which a crucible is inversely rotated to tap molten metal subjected to vacuum melting into a mold.
      SOLUTION: The casting apparatus comprises: a levitation melting furnace 4 in which the outside of a water-cooled metal crucible 1 is provided with a coil 2, and tapping is performed from an opening 3 at the upper face by inversion rotation; a mold 6 connected to the upper face of the crucible 1 so that a sprue 5 faces the opening 3; and a vacuum exhaust system vacuum-exhausting the crucible 1 and the mold 6, wherein a sealing vessel 13 is arranged between the crucible 1 and the coil 2 so as to seal the crucible 1, and the crucible 1 is airtightly connected to the mold 6 sealed by a sealing vessel 16. Not the whole bodies of the levitation melting furnace 4 and the mold 6 are stored into the sealing vessels, but, only the crucible 1 is sealed by the sealing vessel 13 in the levitation melting furnace 4, and the crucible 1 is airtightly connected to the mold to attain the sealing of the crucible 1 and the mold 6, thus the volumes of the sealing vessels 13 and 16 are minimized, and the apparatus can be miniaturized.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield coil of an induction heating type steam generating device capable of easily positioning and fixing the shield coil, by integrating circular conductors of the shield coil with a simple constitution.
      SOLUTION: The shield coil, disposed on the outer side of a heating coil of the induction heating type steam generating device, is constituted by spirally winding the conductor, having a fluid flow passage inside by the desired number of stages; overlapped parts of the conductor of each stage and the conductor next thereto are connected electrically and mechanically to form an electrically-closed circular coil; and the steam is taken in and out to the fluid flow passage from a winding start end and a winding terminal end of the conductor of the shield coil.
