    • A Network Node and a method therein for controlling uplink power control are provided. The method comprises collecting (210) measurement reports from UEs. The method comprises creating (220) clusters of low power RBS(s) and macro RBS(s), wherein each cluster comprises one low power RBS and at least one macro RBS; and identifying (230) the macro RBS with the lowest pathloss for those UEs connected to the low power RBS and the level of the pathloss. The method comprises determining (240) an interference level in the low power RBS caused by UEs connected to the macro RBS for those UEs connected to the macro RBS. Further, the method comprises selecting (250) uplink power control setting for the low power RBS based on the size of the pathloss associated with the identified macro RBS and the interference level in the low power RBS caused by UEs being connected to the macro RBS.

    • A method and apparatus in a base station serving a first cell in a cellular network, for supporting radio resource management, RRM, in the cellular network. The base station obtains measurements (M) of signals transmitted in the first cell and of signals transmitted in at least one neighboring cell and determines a cell isolation factor of the first cell, based on the obtained measurements, the cell isolation factor indicating insusceptibility to interference from signals transmitted in the neighboring cell(s). The determined cell isolation factor is then used to support RRM for terminals in the network, e.g. as a basis for determining whether to employ an RRM scheme or not. Thereby, it is possible to decide to employ the RRM scheme for cells where it is effective and helpful and not in other cells.

    • The invention relates to a method and entity that allow for saving of uplink bandwidth in connection with peer-to-peer sharing in a wireless communication system. A caching entity, called a reverse cache, intercepts a point-to-point connection between a mobile network user plane gateway and a wireless user equipment running a peer-to-peer application. The reverse cache caches content loaded to the peer-to-peer application and stores information indicative of the wireless user equipment to which the cached content is loaded. A request on the point-to-point connection for delivery of a first content from the wireless user equipment is intercepted by the reverse cache. When the requested first content is cached in the reverse cache along with information indicating that the requested first content has been loaded to the wireless user equipment, the reverse cache responds by delivering the requested first content, without involving the wireless user equipment.
