摘要： A disposable catheter and reusable stylet assembly is disclosed. The disposable catheter prevents infectious bodily fluids and tissues from making contact with the stylet. The catheter includes an implantable elongated tube connected to a stylet receiving body. The stylet includes a control handle that can be coupled or engaged to the receiving body. The stylet also includes a stylet member that can extend within the catheter tube. An image capturing component can be positioned at the distal end of the stylet member. A control mechanism can control the movement of the stylet member.

The second visual device is movable with respect to the first visual device to provide image feedback of a lesion from a different prospective than the first visual device. The second visual device can be moved before, contemporaneously with, or subsequent to a diagnostic or therapeutic procedure. The second visual device can include an elongated tube that can be extended into or retracted out from an insertion tube of the catheter assembly.

摘要： An endoscope assembly with a main imaging device and a first light source is configured to provide a forward view of a body cavity, and further includes a detachable imaging device with an attachment member engageable with the distal end region of the endoscope, a linking member connected to the attachment member, and an imaging element with a second light source, wherein the detachable imaging device provides a retrograde view of the body cavity and the main imaging device. Light interference is reduced by using polarizing filters or by alternating the on/off state of the main imaging device, the first light source, the imaging element and the second light source so that the main imaging device and first light source are on when the imaging element and second light source are off and the main imaging device and first light source are off when the imaging element and second light source are on.
