    • Various apparatuses and methods are described to reduce interference in signals subject to intermodulation products and high power narrow band interfering signals on lower power wideband signals. Apparatuses and methods described herein also provide the capability for supporting multi-standards, multi-modes and multi-bands in wireless and wired applications with a single receiver or a receiver with minor variations. The receiver described herein samples the entire band in which there can be signals of interest or signals that can generate interference. All of these signals are sampled in one bit stream and the bit stream is processed to isolate signals of interest and interfering signals. The isolated interfering signals are then cancelled out of the signals of interest.

    • An exercise device comprises an elongate rod having opposite ends each being configured to be grasped by a user. The rod includes a flexible inner core having a pair of opposite ends and an outer sheath substantially circumscribing at least a central portion of the inner core. A pair of grip sections are each positioned on an opposite end of the rod, the grip sections being configured to allow a user to grasp each end of the rod when performing exercises. At least one end cap is fixed to one of the opposite ends of the rod, the end cap including engaging structure associated therewith to facilitate engagement with a safety strap. A safety strap is engaged with the end cap and is configured to be releasably secured to the user to prevent accidental release of a grip section of the rod.

    • A Multi-mode-multi-band direct conversion receiver with complex I and Q channel interference mitigation processing for cancellation of intermodulation products (IMPs) are described. In one embodiment, a method comprising over sampling of the entire receiver passband to acquire the IMP source signals that can generate IMPs within the signal of interest (SOI), generate a coherent complex I-Q channel estimates of the interference, generating estimates of 2nd and 3rd order IMP products, sampling of the transmitter feed thru signal and blocking signals and computing the cross modulation products estimate, using the cross modulation cancellation to cancel of the effects of the on chip transmitter feed thru to support building a single transceiver chip with full duplex operation, and creation of an estimate of the DC offset in the receiver in a closed loop fashion to cancel the DC offset in the I and Q channels independently and simultaneously, and adjusting the rate of update to match system parameters.

    • A method and apparatus for intermodulation product (IMP) cancellation. In one embodiment, the method comprises: acquiring copies of source signals that create IMPs in a passband of interest; creating copies of the IMPs for use as IMP cancellation signals by either multiplying the source signals together as a series of digital samples such that the multiplied signals create a near real and continuous time copy of the IMPs or creating a sum of the source signals in near real and continuous time and convolving the sum of the source signals with a mathematical model to effectively multiply the signals together to create a copy of the IMPs; adjusting one or both of phase and amplitude of the copies; and using the copies to cancel the IMPs inband of the passband of interest.
