    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately detect the concentration of a gas to be detected, such as CO gas, while capable of determining a state in which siloxane poisoning and moisture adsorption has occurred.
      SOLUTION: A gas detector includes a control section 5, which controls the operation of a heating section 4 so as to change-over between a high-temperature state and a low-temperature state and detects a gas to be detected, on the basis of an electric resistance value of a gas detection section 3 in a low-temperature state; and a determination section 14, which performs the process of clean air determination for determining whether the ambient air of the gas detection section 3 is clean air, on the basis of the electrical resistance value of the gas detecting section 3 and, in the case that clean air is determined by the clean air determination process, performs either the process of siloxane poisoning determination for determining the state of siloxane poisoning, when the electrical resistance value of the gas detection section 3 in a high-temperature state is less than a normal range, or the process of moisture adsorption determination for determining the state of moisture adsorption, when the electrical resistance value of the gas detection section 3 in a high-temperature state is greater than that of the normal range.
