SOLUTION: The optical waveguide parts 40 which is connected in freely attachably and detachably to an optical connector plug through guide pins is equipped with an optical waveguide chip 1 which has an optical waveguide formed, a connecting end member 2 which is so arranged having end surfaces exposed to both the end parts of the optical waveguide chip 1 and has guide-pin fitting holes, a protection member 41 which is so provided as to protect the optical waveguide of the optical waveguide chip 1, and a receptacle 44 which is provided at the end part of the protection member 41 and connected in freely detachably to the optical connector plug.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized multi-fiber optical connector which can easily be connected to an opposite-side optical component with small splice loss. SOLUTION: First and 2nd bare optical fibers 4a and 4b led out of 1st and 2nd optical fiber ribbons 6a and 6b which are arrayed one over the other are heddled alternately to perform array conversion and then arrayed and fixed in optical fiber array guide grooves 22 arranged on a plane substrate 21 at intervals nearly equal to the external diameter of the bare optical fibers 4. A connection end member 24 having an engagement recessed part 12 surrounding the plane substrate 21 is provided on the side of a connection end surface 5 of the plane substrate 21 and the connection end member 24 and plane substrate 21 are both positioned and fixed by inverted V-shape grooves 23 of the connection end member 24 and positioning guide grooves 23 of the plane substrate 21. The connection end member 24 is provided with pin engagement holes 26 for connection with an optical component on the connection opposite party side on both the sides across the array areas of the 1st and 2nd bare optical fibers 4a and 4b and connected to the optical component through pins inserted into the pin engagement holes 26.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a freely attachable and detachable butting connection of an optical connector with one end of a waveguide chip by surrounding at least the connection side of the other end of a waveguide chip for an optical fiber with a protection cover. SOLUTION: The waveguide module has a waveguide chip 2, intermediate members 3 and 4, an optical fiber array 5, and the protection cover 6 and a multicore connector 20 is connected freely attachably and detachably by butting to one end of the waveguide chip 2 along the length as its optical transmission direction. The protection cover 6 made of synthetic resin, metal, etc., is formed in a long cylinder shape of an upper cover 7 and a lower cover 8 which are positioned and combined with a projection and a recessed part. Then the waveguide chip 2, intermediate members 3 and 4, and the optical fiber array 5 are surrounded with the protection cover 6. Consequently, the waveguide module does not have its optical characteristics affected by the attachment and detachment of the multicore connector 20 on the waveguide chip 2 even when the multicore connector 20 is attached and detached through the opening 7a of the upper cover 7.

摘要： PURPOSE: To provide an oxide superconductive current lead excellent superconductive characteristic and mechanical strength in which the inflow heat quantity can be reduced by forming a current lead by laminating a powder blended so as to form an oxide superconductor with a noble metal continuous thin material followed by compression molding. CONSTITUTION: A hundred parts of powder of temporarily baked Bi2 Sr2 Ca1 Cu2 Ox , 30 parts of toluene ethanol, and 0.4 parts of polyvinyl butyral (binder) are mixed together to form a slurry 10. This slurry 10 is applied onto a carrier 11 to form a film body 12, which is then dried to manufacture a green sheet 13. One surface of the sheet 13 is coated with a silver layer 14, and four pieces of the resulting sheets 13 are laminated. The resulting laminated body 15 is spirally wound six times to form a spiral cylindrical body 16. This is heated to perform a debinder treatment, and transferred into a rubber tube 17 followed by compression molding. This is heated to manufacture an oxide superconductive current lead 18.
