    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat structure for a vehicle capable of extremely easily and collectively performing slide operation of respective seats.
      SOLUTION: The seat is constituted by an approximately horizontally arranged seating part 21 and a back rest part 22 supported on a rear end of the seating part 21 and these seats are arranged/supported in a longitudinal direction. The seat is supported slidably in a longitudinal direction along a rail 12 provided on a floor surface. A lock mechanism for locking the seat to the rail 12 by engaging a projection 44 of a claw part 45 of a lock plate 41 with a lock hole of the rail 12 is provided. Locking to the rail 12 can be released by operation of an operation lever 35 from a rear side of the seat. A connection link 71 and a connection piece 91 are provided as a connection time lock release mechanism for releasing the locking of slide of the seat at a front side at connection of a connection mechanism for connecting the forwardly slid seat to the seat at a front side and the seats.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce weight and hold a seat body more securely in a seat slide mechanism of a rear row seat device equipped in an automobile.
      SOLUTION: An upper rail and a lower rail are fixed through a bearing in an inner side rail assembly 142 of the seat slide mechanism 114, and the upper rail slides on the bearing. The inner side rail assembly 142 has a lock mechanism for locking the upper rail in a fore and aft direction. An outer side rail assembly 141 slides on a lower rail in a fore and aft direction with a roller fixed at the upper rail. The outer side rail assembly 141 is not provided with a lock mechanism. The outer side rail assembly 141 has an anchoring part for anchoring the upper rail when the upper rail floats up from the lower rail.
