    • PURPOSE:To evaluate the forming margin with higher precision on whether or not the appropriate press quality is obtained irrespective of the fluctuation of the load of a press and the fluctuation of the material properties of the stock to be pressed. CONSTITUTION:After the reference cushion pressure range Eo is set according to the fluctuation in the cushion pressure of a press (step S1), the upper limit value CH1 is corrected with the critical cushion pressure ratio on the high pressure side (Cmax1/Cmax2) where the appropriate press quality is obtained on the T/L material used in evaluating the forming margin and the lower limit material which is most likely cracked (steps S4-S6). The lower limit value CL1 is corrected with the critical cushion pressure ratio on the low pressure side (Pft/PfL) where the appropriate press quality is obtained on the T/L material and the wrinkle lower limit material where the wrinkles are most likely generated (steps S7-S9). The forming margin is evaluated depending on whether or not the appropriate press quality is obtained in the cushion pressure range CL2-CH2 after the correction.

    • PURPOSE:To elevate the quality of a forming product by equipping the pressing pin arranged corresponding to a wrinkle pressing face, the work supporting mechanism provided by opposing thereto and the height setting mechanism of the pressing pin and deforming the work outer peripheral part in the shape running along the wrinkle pressing face. CONSTITUTION:A work pressing mechanism 50 has the pressing pin 51 arranged at the lattice point 33 on the face corresponding to a wrinkle pressing face. The pressing pin 51 is linked to the height setting mechanism 52 equipped with the servo mechanism setting to a specific height and the tip part of the pressing pin 51 is formed in semispherical shape. The height setting mechanism 52 displaces the height of the pressing pin 51 by inputting the data of the shape of the wrinkle pressing face. A work supporting mechanism 40 is provided by opposing to the pressing pin 51, providing a supporting pin 44 on a spring 43. With this device the height of each pressing pin 51 is detected and a NC tape is made by obtaining the final data on the wrinkle pressing face and outputted to a NC cutting machine, etc. The accuracy in the estimation of the wrinkle pressing face of a press die is increased to reduce the correcting man/hour of a die.
