    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent bumping of a working liquid inside a pipe even when the bore of the pipe is small and to enable proper control of the quantity of the working liquid sealed in, by a method wherein, with a sealed part in one end of the pipe directed downward, the upper end part thereof is sealed, while the upper portion of the pipe in the vicinity of the surface of the working liquid inside the pipe is heated to the boiling point of the working liquid or above. SOLUTION: The lower end part 1a of a pipe made of steel is sealed by welding or the like and a working liquid 2 is injected into the pipe 1. A pipe holding hole 17 which holds the pipe 1 vertically is provided in a heat pipe heating part 12 of heating equipment 10, while a hot air generating part 11 and the heat pipe heating part 12 are connected by an air sending pipe 18 and an air discharge pipe 19, and the pipe 1 containing the working liquid 2 injected therein is fitted in the pipe holding hole 17, being held vertically. A part 1c of the pipe 1 to be heated is set near and above the surface of the working liquid 2 approximately, and while the part is heated to the boiling point of the working liquid or above, the upper open end part 1b of the pipe 1 is sealed by calking and welded. Thereby a heat pipe is manufactured.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an element isolating device for forming a scar at an element formation member, and for cleaving the element formation member from the scar formation position. SOLUTION: This device is provided with an element arrangement face 12 on which a bar 1 formed by arraying a plurality of element is loaded, an arrangement position detecting means having a camera 40 for detecting the arrangement position of the bar 1 arranged on the element arrangement plane 12 in orthogonal X and Y directions being plane two axes and the direction of rotation around a Z axis vertical to the X and Y plane, a mobile stage means 14 capable of moving the bar 1 arranged on the element arrangement face 12 to the X and Y directions and the direction of rotation around the Z axis, a scar forming means 13 for monitoring a scar on the surface side of the bar 1 arranged on the element arrangement face 12, and a cleaving means 80 for cleaving the bar 1 from the scar formed by the scar forming means 13. In this case, a cutter 9 is pressurized to the bar 1 so as to be supported almost orthogonally to the bar 1 so that the scar can be formed by the scar forming means 13.
