摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a visible display which is equivalent to the display that is secured when an entire object is transformed into the three-dimensional data by allocating a two-dimensional image to a three-dimensional shape model of a part of the object. SOLUTION: A three-dimensional shape model constructing part 2 constructs a three-dimensional shape model of a 1st part of an object shape. A 1st image data holding part 3 holds the two-dimensional image data corresponding to the 1st part, and a 2nd image data holding part 4 holds the two-dimensional image data corresponding to a 2nd part of the object shape. A rotating position setting part 6 rotates the three-dimensional shape model. A 1st image constructing part 7 constructs a 1st two-dimensional image that is to be allocated to the rotated three-dimensional shape model. A 2nd image constructing part 8 constructs a 2nd two-dimensional image corresponding to the 1st two-dimensional image. A synthetic two-dimensional image production part 9 synthesizes the 1st and 2nd two-dimensional images. An allocating part 10 allocates a part of the 1st two-dimensional image of a synthetic two-dimensional image to the three-dimensional shape model.

In a face image generating part 5, the viewpoint closest to a viewpoint arbitrarily designated by a viewpoint setting part 8 is selected, the area of the face in the multi-viewpoint images corresponding to the viewpoint is extracted and outputted and in a position aligning and synthesizing part 6, first of all, a rotary axis in the image is detected on the basis of the image in the face area. Next, the lowest part of the jaw is detected by a jaw position detecting part 6b in respective front and side images after area extraction. In an image synthesizing part 6d, the image of a human body and the image of the head after position alignment are synthesized.
