    • PURPOSE:To achieve higher detecting resolutions when a position signal is obtained by tilting a scale tooth at the same angle in an opposite direction to each other with respect to a center line so that it becomes symmetrical horizontally with respect to the center line in an ongoing direction of a motor. CONSTITUTION:A scale tooth 21a is tilted by gamma/8 with respect to a distance (a) between centers of sensor teeth 4a and 5a, wherein gamma represents a pitch of the scale tooth and the sensor tooth. With such an arrangement, two harmonics appear with phases thereof shifted by gamma/8 from each other in the couple of the sensor teeth 4a and 5a and the couple of sensor teeth 6a and 7a. The two harmonics are equal in size with a cycle thereof remaining unchanged gamma/4. Therefore, the two harmonics become opposite in phase to cancel each other so that the combination of the harmonics is zero. An output of a Hall element between sensor pieces cancels a harmonic with a cycle of gamma/8, which allows the obtaining of a sinusoidal output without distortion. Moreover, the scale tooth 21a is made skew in symmetry horizontally with respect to a center line A of a scale 21 to eliminate positional errors due to a horizontal deviation.

The adhesive material 43 is thereby packed into the adhesive material flow-preventive wall 37 formed around the front face of the rotor slightly smaller by taking the expansion component thereof into account and, therefore, the bleeding of the adhesive material from the adhesive material flow-preventive wall 37 is obviated and the axial alignment at the time of mounting of the disk to the motor is easily and surely executed. In addition, the flatness of the hologram disk itself is maintained with high accuracy, by which the hologram disk assembly having no surface waving is obtd.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a stable thrust in a linear pulse motor by disposing a bypass magnetic path formed of a soft magnetic material between magnetic paths to reduce magnetic interference between magnetic fields generated by coils. CONSTITUTION:A bypass magnetic path 18 is formed of a soft magnetic material in the same length as those of magnetic paths 6, 7 in the heights of permanent magnets 13, 14, i.e., in the same width as the size of a direction of an arrow. A movable element 12 is formed by securing in series the magnets 13, 14 to both sides of both edges of the path 18 so that the flowing directions of the bypass magnetic fluxes become the same, and by magnetically coupling poles 6-1, 6-2 and 7-1, 7-2. With this configuration, even if exciting magnetic fields generated by the paths 6, 7 and coils 5-1, 5-2 become reverse, the magnetic flux tending to creep from one path 6 or 7 to the other 7 or 6 flows in the path 18. Accordingly, magnetic interference between the magnetic fields generated by the coils 5-1, 5-2 can be reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To elongate the life of a linear pulse motor, by a method wherein recesses, effecting as the reservoir of lubricating oil, are provided on the rolling surface of rollers, supporting a gap between the primary magnetic circuit and the secondary magnetic circuit of the linear pulse motor. CONSTITUTION:The scale 14 of ferromagnetic substance, on which a plurality of slits 16 is arranged in parallel with an equal pitch, is bonded to a ferromagnetic substrate 12, whereby the secondary magnetic circuit 10 of a linear pulse motor is constituted. In this case, the scale 14 of ferromagnetic substance is provided with four pieces of grooves 17 along the whole length of the rolling surface 14a of rollers at positions where at the inside edges of rollers (not shown in a diagram) supporting a gap between the secondary magnetic circuit 10 and a primary magnetic circuit (not shown in the diagram) are abutted. These grooves 17 are used as the reservoirs of lubricating oil, whereby the separation of the rolling surface due to fatigue may be prevented even when said rollers are run many times on the rolling surface 14a of the rollers; accordingly, the life of the linear pulse motor may be elongated.

    • PURPOSE:To suppress deformation of a raceway surface and improve positioning accuracy of a movable element by providing a hole or notch between a fitting part and the raceway surface of a frame plate. CONSTITUTION:A hole 54 is formed between a raceway surface 52 and a fitting part 53 out of a frame plate 51 of a linear pulse motor stator. This hole 53 makes a rigidity of a portion between the fitting part 53 and the raceway surface 52 lower than that of a raceway surface 52-forming part. Therefore, deformation of the fitting part 53 is absorbed by a hole 54-forming part with low rigidity when a linear pulse motor is fitted to a base stand 42 by screws 41 using the fitting part 53. As a result, a deformation of the fitting part 53 is not propagated to the raceway surface 52 and that of the raceway surface 52 is suppressed so that a positioning accuracy of the movable element is improved.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the thickness of a linear pulse motor by splitting and winding an exciting winding to grooves between teeth of a movable element, thereby reducing a leakage magnetic flux. CONSTITUTION:Teeth 202 are formed at a pitch of 7 on a stator 201. Teeth 204-207 are also formed on a movable element 203, and teeth of 7/1 of phase displacement and of zero displacement are alternately arranged. The element 203 is composed of permanent magnets 212-213, a yoke 214 for forming a magnetic path and exciting windings 208-209. Further, the windings 208-209 are split and wound on winding cores 210 as a two phase windings. Thus, when currents are flowed to the exciting windings, the directions of magnetic fluxes of the prescribed directions are obtained at the teeth 305, 204 to move the element 203. Since the windings 208-209 are split and wound in the groove between the teeth of the element 203, a leakage magnetic flux can be reduced and decreased in the thickness.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain sufficient developed density with a high resistance toner whose developing property is inferior, by making a rotary magnetic brush press- contact with an image forming body through a nonmagnetic sleeve. CONSTITUTION:On the outside circumference of a nonmagnetic sleeve 2 in a developing device, a rotary magnetic brush of a one component magnetic toner, which rotates in the direction as indicated with an arrow C is formed, and it is pressed against a rotary drum 1 by a spring 7 provided on a toner vessel 4. In this case, when linear pressure is set to 7-200g/cm, sufficient developed density is obtained. It is because a gap of 10-20mum is held, by which a high resistance toner becomes usable, by pressing of the sleeve 2. Accordingly, by pressing the sleeve 2 against the drum 1, sufficient developed density is obtained by use of a high resistance toner whose developing property is inferior.

    • PURPOSE:To completely eliminate the fog in a simple constitution, by providing a charger to give the electric charging to a recording matter to the same polarity as a toner before the developing process. CONSTITUTION:A charging corotron 10a is set opposite to a recording matter 2, and a metallic plate 15 containing an earthed end is provided inside the corotron 10a to form a charger. Then the surface opposite to the corotron 10a is electrically charged to the same polarity as a toner 13 of a developer. As a result, no electric insulation is required for a developing device 5, and furthermore an electric field which is necessary for the prescribed development can be formed just by using the corotron 10a and not using any bias power supply. Thus a so-called back fog can be completely eliminated.
