    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to simultaneously create the state of a non- reflection terminal by using matching blocks having specified characteristics unlike matching grease which is difficult in uniform application and requires wiping away, forming these blocks as multiple blocks and bringing the blocks into contact with a series of MT connector end faces. SOLUTION: This multiplex non-reflection terminal consists in bringing a matching block holding body 16 formed by mounting the many matching blocks in series into pressurized contact with the many MT connectors 13 disposed at an optical switch. A matching block mounting body formed by coupling the matching block holding body 16 and a coupling member to an optical switch casing 11 by a screw mechanism in such a manner that the matching block holding body 16 may be advanced and retreated is mounted at the optical switch casing 11, by which the rapid pressing of the matching blocks with a uniform pressure to the front end of the MT connectors is made possible in this method for forming the non-reflection terminal.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to securely adhere and fix optical fibers into V-grooves by using a V-grooved substrate formed by providing the V-grooves with auxiliary grooves for adhesive in a crossing direction inclined to the insertion direction of the optical fibers on the front surface side from the lower bottom side. SOLUTION: The V-grooves 12 of the V-grooved substrate 11 are provided with the auxiliary grooves 17 for adhesive in the direction crossing the same. Namely, the auxiliary grooves 17 for adhesive are formed in the crossing direction of the plural V grooves 12 by inclining the grooves 17 to the insertion direction of the optical fibers 14 to the front surface side from the lower bottom side of the V-grooves 12. The adhesive 16 spread completely to the circumferences of the V-grooves 12 housing the optical fibers 14 at the time of pouring and packing the adhesive 16 into these grooves after inserting the optical fibers 14 into the respective V-grooves 12 or when the optical fibers 14 are inserted after the adhesive 16 is applied and packed into the grooves. Even more, the optical fibers 14 are adhered and fixed with the adhesive 16 in the auxiliary grooves 17. The auxiliary grooves 17 for adhesive may not always be disposed in the same positions of the whole of the Vgrooves 12 and not only one piece but a suitable number thereof may be disposed at suitable intervals.
