      SOLUTION: The light emitting device installed to a door trim of an automobile has a long light guiding body, and a light source disposed on one end side in a longitudinal direction of the light guiding body. The light guiding body has the light outgoing face which is extended in the longitudinal direction and from which incoming light entering into the light guiding body is emitted to the outside and faces adjacent to the light outgoing face so that an inner angle made of at least one of the adjacent faces and the light outgoing face makes an acute angle.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device provided with a light source and a light guiding means with good designability.
      SOLUTION: The light guiding means is provided with a reflecting surface for reflecting light entering from an incident plane, a refracting surface for refracting light reflected by the reflecting surface, and an outgoing surface for emitting light refracted by the refracting surface to the outside. The reflecting surface of the light guiding means is formed at a position which is not directly and visually confirmed from the outgoing surface. The light reflected by the reflecting surface is refracted by the refracting surface at least one time, is dispersed and is made to emit from the outgoing surface, and thereby light unevenness due to ruggedness of the reflecting surface is reduced.
