摘要： PURPOSE: To obtain a highly blowing type flame-retardant foam useful as a heat insulating member, a sound insulating member and a cushioning member, generating no halogenated gas during combustion, having high safety, comprising a polyolefin resin containing a vinyl acetate residue, a metal hydroxide and carbon black. CONSTITUTION: This high blowing type polyolefinic foam is obtained by blending 100 pts.wt. polyolefin resin having 10-90wt.% vinyl acetate residue content (e.g. ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer) with 50-300 pts.wt. metal hydroxide (e.g. magnesium hydroxide), 0.3-30 pts.wt. carbon black (e.g. oil furnace black), a cross- linking agent (e.g. dicumyl peroxide) and a blowing agent (e.g. azocarbonamide), melting, kneading to give a melted compound, extruding the melted compound into a sheetlike state and generates no hydrogen halide in combustion, has high safety and is useful as a heat insulating member, a sound insulating member and a cushioning member.

摘要： PURPOSE:To form an embossed pattern on the outer peripheral surface of a material shaped into a pipe form. CONSTITUTION:A film-coated foamed resin pipe 27 passes through round pipes 34, 35. A net body 31, such as a wire gauze, is circulated in an endless manner and passes through the round pipe 34, 35 at the upper edge thereof together with the film-coated foamed resin pipe 27. The net body 31 of a flat form is shaped into a cylindrical form by the round pipe 34 to cylindrically wrap the outer peripheral surface of the film-coated foamed resin pipe 27. The net body is returned to a flat form past the round pipe 35. The film-coated foamed resin pipe 27 is softened by being heated by a heater 36 provided around the round pipe 34 as well as subjected to internal pressure by a compressed air supplied into the resin pipe 27. The part positioned on the mesh of the net body 31 is expanded, and an embossed pattern in accordance with the shape of the mesh is formed. The film-coated foamed resin pipe 27 is brought into contact with the net body 31 for a sufficiently long time, therefore being embossed even under small internal pressure.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the equipment costs of an embossing molding method through no requisition for a sheet cutting process therein, improve its yield owing to no resultant chips, and improve the strength of a finished pipe with no seams. SOLUTION: An embossing method comprises forming a film-coated pipe 11 by capping a pipe 1 being travelled with a laminate film F longitudinally and heating it, and embossing pattern is transferred on the outer periphery of the pipe 11 by winding the pipe 11 with an endless wound member 15 with the embossing pattern and heating and cooling it. The outer periphery of the pipe 11 may be alternately embossed by the process in which the pipe 11 is held inside the wound belt having plural pairs of upper and lower dies with the embossing pattern and heated up and cooled down. The method dispenses with a sheet cutting process to lower its equipment costs, and produces no chips for its raised yield. The pipe finished by the method has no seams, which serves to improve the strength.
