摘要： A fluid deposition device (100) including a platen (102) and a cartridge mount assembly (104) is described. The platen (102) is configured to support a substrate upon which a fluid will be deposited. The cartridge mount assembly (104) includes a receptacle (122) configured to receive a print cartridge (114) and multiple electrical contacts (124) configured to mate with corresponding electrical contacts on the print cartridge (114). In one implementation, the cartridge mount assembly (104) further includes a vacuum connector (131) configured to mate with a vacuum inlet included on the print cartridge (114). When the print cartridge is received in the receptacle, the print cartridge can form connections with the electrical contacts and with the vacuum connector (113) of the receptacle at substantially the same time.

SOLUTION: The recirculation assembly 105 includes a main ink inflow part 130 configured to receive ink from an ink supply source; a main ink outflow part 135 configured to guide ink to the ink supply source; and a channel extending from the main ink inflow part to the main ink outflow part. The channel includes an inflow portion and an outflow portion. A pressure difference is formed across the inflow and outflow portions by a constrictor that separates both portions. The inflow portion is configured to move ink from the main inflow part to openings formed in the inflow portion, and the openings are configured to guide ink toward ink inflow channels for each of a large number of print head modules. 摘要： A fluid ejection apparatus includes a fluid distribution layer between a fluid manifold and a substrate. The fluid distribution layer includes fluid supply channels and fluid return channels. Each fluid supply channel receives fluid from the fluid supply chamber and circulates a fraction of the received fluid back to the fluid return chamber through a return-side bypass. The substrate include a plurality of flow paths, each flow path includes a nozzle for ejecting fluid droplets. Each flow path receives fluid from a respective fluid supply channel, and channel un-ejected fluid into a respective fluid return channel. Each fluid return channel can collect the un-ejected fluid from one or more flow paths and a supply-side bypass, and return the collected fluid back to the fluid supply chamber.
