    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the tension of the film, which is trained over a suction drum, constant.
      SOLUTION: The suction drum 39 is connected to a motor 42 through a powder clutch 43 and rotated in the direction opposite to the feed direction of a film 3 to apply tension to the film 3. A tension measuring part 46 measures the tension of the film 3 to input the measured tension value to a tension controller 59. A torque calculation part 61 compares the reference tension read from a memory part 60 with the inputted measured tension to calculate the torque of the suction drum 39 necessary for equalizing the measured tension and the reference tension. The calculated torque is inputted to a drive signal forming part 62 and the control signal of the powder clutch 43 necessary for obtaining this torque is formed. The powder clutch 43 is operated on the basis of the formed control signal to adjust the torque transmitted to the suction drum 39 from the motor 42.
