    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner set for electrostatic charge image development having superior transfer properties and resulting in a high-quality image, and to provide a method for forming images that uses the toner set. SOLUTION: When an image is to be formed by using toners of various colors, for example, a color image is to be formed, by using toners of four colors of yellow, magenta, cyan and black, each color toner, is specified to have 2.6 to 8.0 μm volume average particle diameter, ≤1.40 index of number average particle size distribution and ≤1.30 index of volume average particle size distribution.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner which is superior in charging properties, transfer properties, fixing properties and cleaning properties and further has quick charging speed, even over a wide range of process speeds, and to provide a manufacturing method of the electrostatic charge image developing toner. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of electrostatic charge image developing toner comprises, at least a process of aggregating particles to form aggregated particles, by mixing and heating dispersion liquid of binder resin fine particles having the volume average particle size of 1 μm or smaller, colorant particle dispersion liquid, release agent dispersion liquid and an aggregation agent, and subsequently heating and fusing the mixture to the temperature of the glass transition temperature of the binder resin fine particles or more to form the toner particles, and a process of attaching a titanium compound obtained by the reaction between TiO(OH) 2 and a silane compound to the surface of the toner particles. In the electrostatic charge image developing toner manufactured by the manufacturing method, the volume average particle size is 5 to 9 μm, the volume average particle size distribution index GSDv is 1.25 or smaller, and the shape factor SF1 is 125 to 140.
