摘要： There is disclosed a light-sensitive material comprising, in a hydrophilic colloid provided on a base, a color-developing agent represented by formula (I) or (II): R3-NHNH-Z wherein Z represents an acyl group, a carbamoyl group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, or an aryloxycarbonyl group; Z represents a carbamoyl group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, or an aryloxycarbonyl group; X , X , X , X , and X each represent a hydrogen atom or a substituent, provided that the sum of the Hammett substituent constant sigma p values of X , X , and X and the Hammett substituent constant sigma m values of X and X is 0.80 or more but 3.80 or below; and R represents a heterocyclic group. There is also disclosed a novel color-developing agent that can be built in. By using the color-developing agent, the light-sensitive material can attain a rapid and simple formation of an image.

摘要： There is disclosed a method for forming a color image by exposing to light imagewise, color-developing, desilvering, washing or stabilizing, and drying a silver halide color photographic material having photosensitive hydrophilic colloid layers containing at least three silver halide emulsion layers and non-photosensitive hydrophilic colloid layers, on a reflective support. The silver halide emulsion layer of the said silver halide color photographic material contains 95 mol% or more of silver chloride, and the reflective support is covered with a polyester resin comprising a white pigment mixed and dispersed therein. In the processing, the amount of the replenishment of the desilvering step is in a limited range.

摘要： A method for desilvering an imagewise exposed and color development processed silver halide color light-sensitive material comprising processing the imagewise exposed and color developed silver halide color light-sensitive material with a processing solution exhibiting bleaching ability which contains at least one of hydrogen peroxide and a compound capable of releasing hydrogen peroxide, wherein the silver halide color light-sensitive material has an emulsion layer comprising a light-sensitive silver halide with at least 90 mol% silver chloride and substantially no silver iodide, the processing solution exhibiting a bleaching ability contains at least one water-soluble chloride, the color developed silver halide color light-sensitive material contains 1 mmol/m or less of a color developing agent in the light-sensitive material when introduced into the processing solution exhibiting a bleaching ability and the desilvering is completed within 30 seconds. The desilvering proceeds rapidly in a stable manner without causing environmental pollution.

摘要： An image forming method which comprises (A) exposing to an imagewise pattern of light a light-sensitive material having on a support at least (1) a light-sensitive silver halide, (2) a binder, and (3) a compound which is chemically involved in the reduction of the light-sensitive silver halide to silver under high temperature thereby causing the production or the release of a mobile dye, (B) heating the light-sensitive material in a substantially water-free condition to form the mobile dye with an imagewise distribution subsequently to or simultaneously with the exposure, and (C) transferring the mobile dye into a dye-fixing layer under high temperature and fixing it thereto wherein an acidic component participates chemically in the reaction system for forming the mobile dye after the conclusion of the mobile dye-forming reaction to bring about the desirable effect on lowering the fog density thereof.
